I have played a round of golf in every month. Wash Park is a favorite, and I play coed volleyball on a regular basis. I experimented with skiing this year, which ended in a 'yard sale.' I am a surprisingly patient person. Old people are doing their best to utilize a debit card. There is no need to get angry when they slide the card upside down, or dig through their purse to find the scrap of paper with their pin code. There will be a day when we are their age attempting to make a purchase using some eye blinking recognition system and I don't need a line of people yelling at me to just freakin' blink already!

I’m a middle school teacher, and I’m lucky to be in love with my career; there’s nothing so gratifying as helping guide teenagers through some of the most challenging, transformational, and critical times of their lives. I also teach part-time at Adams State College, and it’s a wonderful complement to middle school.
