For starters, I'm an old-fashioned hard-working very successful professional, well-read and well-traveled. I'm a bit of an acquired taste: I guess that means I make a great second impression (smile). One must be careful when typing "old-fashioned": misplace the dash, and you becomes just another aging dude that dresses well.
Everyone in here will say they love animals (unless they prefer more Saturday nites alone…). But how many can say, as I can, that animals love me? Example (among many), on two occasions I’ve had robins land on my shoulder while I was running. On second thought, that could be indicative of how slow I jog, maybe they thought I was a fence post with a hat?
I laugh easily, very quick witted, a very funny guy: I love self-deprecating humor, and I'm never in a bad mood. I’m fairly laid-back, I don’t sweat the small stuff. I'm chivalrous, clean-living, clean-talking (I despise the F-word, always and everywhere), and loyal: I have never cheated on a woman and I never will – because I believe real character is what we do (how we behave) when no one is looking. I never lie, I keep my word, which means if I say I’m gonna do something or be somewhere, I do/am. And I have no addictions! Well, unless you count trout fishing, golf, skiing and Thai food (and your eyes and your laugh).

I’m too young to have a bucket list, per se. Let’s just say I have a bulging list of places that I want to visit soon. Some involve fishing in out-of-the-way places. So that means you’re probably the intrepid travel adventurer type.
I don't have many deal-breakers. But please have longer hair than mine. Yes, I know, I’ve heard: super-short cuts are “stylish.” Maybe so, but one thing the French have right: “Vive la difference!”
Then there's the God thing. It seems that most women in Match describe themselves as “Spiritual but not Religious.” Dunno what-all that means. Just sayin’, it could range from finding most organized religion to be dull or unfulfilling (me too!) to believing in pixies and fairies (the forest kind…) to worshiping trees. Well no matter, okay for them. But here’s what I know about you: unless you have a deep daily relationship with God – or are at least open to consider one – then I'm probably not your ideal match.
And if you’re either a Penn State or Ohio State fan? Well, that's not exactly a deal breaker … but let’s just say you’ll need to work extra hard to overcome that flaw (Ha!).
