Although I have spent a good part of my life going over 500mph at 43,000ft with my head way above the clouds, I am considered to be very down to earth and grounded. Even when not on the job, I love to explore and travel for pleasure. Cruises, Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Alaska, Bermuda, Key West, NYC and the National Parks being my favorites.

I enjoy doing anything on, in or near the water and like to spend time exploring the Intracoastal Waterway by boat, sailing the Ruedi Reservoir as well as biking and hiking.. Also, spontaneous drives with the top down along A1A, to the Keys or to the Gulf Coast. I enjoy Broadway shows, watching movies and spending time with friends and family. I'm a Law Order fan and also like HGTV and the Food Network. I have professional culinary training and enjoy preparing both casual and romantic dinners. My musical tastes range from top 40 to jazz to reggae and country. I lived most of my life in New England, but with close enough ties to NYC to give me country values and city smarts, but without an attitude. My life got turned upside down with the recession and I started over in Newport RI and could not have been be happier about living in that special place. I have been lucky to live and work in resorts most of my life. I am used to people in a good mood most of the time which keeps my mood very high. I am very consistent emotionally, hard working and a real nice guy far from boring and very spontaneous. I am now back in the beloved Rockies, living in Carbondale.
I'm finding a lot of fun things to do that I had taken for granted while living here since 1994. I go on long walks or hikes nearly daily, bike for transportation as much as possible. I like to watch football on Sundays during the season at a friends or sports bar, since I do not have TV at home.
