I am an avid skier. I try to be active, I exercise regularly, swimming laps is my main activity. Friends say I am intelligent, I am educated, I love having fun, sometimes I'm just a big kid, I can be serious when necessary. I like to spend more of my time with you, but I need some time with self or others (please don't read other dates, just friends for skiing, golf, etc). I fiddle with home improvement projects and like to cook, especially on the grill. I am also good at relaxing, but am no couch potato.
Well I like to play golf and believe it or not, I used to be able to hit a one iron, emphasis on used to... I still have a "power Fade", if you know what that is, then you know my game.
I like good movies, good story lines. Unfortunately, Hollywood produces 95 percent crap these days, so finding something compelling is a challenge. I enjoy a good drama on TV though the above applies there too.
I like games, board games, cards, etc, not the mind games some people play, I have zero tolerance for that nonsense.

I was born and raised in the UK so if you're looking for the rugged cowboy type then I'm not it. That's not to say I can rough it sometimes :) I’m not metrosexual either, just somewhere in between. I don’t typically watch sports, well not on TV but I have been know to go to a baseball game once in a while.
I'm initially looking for someone I can connect with and a best friend because without that it's a waste of time.
The kind of woman I appreciate like to fine dine and her favorite restaurant is NOT Applebee's but can appreciate junk food once in a while.
She takes care of her physical appearance and does some kind of exercise to stay in shape.

I love going to art museums, plays etc. and anything cultural but have been know to hang out at a downtown bar and forget how much I had to drink. If your consistent idea of a good night out is getting hammered then I'm not for you.

You should not think big cities are scary and full of weird people and best to stay away from then.
For me, physical attraction is as important as mental attraction. Mom jeans are a definite no no. If it takes you two hours to get ready to go to the zoo then this might be a problem though.
I'm an honest, good person. I help my friends as much as I can and usually put other people's interests before mine.
I have a somewhat silly sense of humor and don't take my self seriously and hope you don't too and can take a certain amount if mild teasing, i.e. you don't have a big ego.
I don't have any prejudices and am very open minded to people from all walks of life and beliefs and you should too.
I like to keep active and be outside doing almost anything but I can also appreciate sleeping in on a Sunday and watching movies marathons at home to unwind and relax.
Keeping a healthy mind and body is important to me but don’t get me wrong, I love a pig-out once in a while, life is about compromises and balance so there’s no point in being so healthy that you’re miserable with your life.
I have very little ego and don’t have a temper but I know how and when to stand up for myself. I think I have a lust for life try to see everything through the eyes of an optimist. Of course I sometimes get depressed but it usually on lasts an hour or so.
