Well, I'm changing this up again. I just thought my old essay was long, boring and kinda wimpy. Even though it was honest, it didn't seem to make me stand out in this crowd of amazing men as someone interesting and worth taking a chance on. Perhaps I've went in a wrong direction with this short version but oh well. I hope this comes off cute and confident, not arrogant. I'll see what kind of feedback I get this time. Life is an adventure right?
So now about me. I truly am a sweet and humble good guy that is fun and happy with an intelligent mind and loving heart. I work in construction as an electrician so I am also manly, strong, I can build and fix stuff, I am good with my hands and I know how to take care of business and get the job done! It would be great to find someone who appreciates those qualities in a man. I know of a lot of fellow men that have many of the same qualities as myself and treat women with respect and kindness, however, when the women realize that we are being true to our nature they can't believe it and tend to run off and end up hooking up with some douche that treats them with disrespect. What's the deal ladies??? It's getting kinda old. Nice guys need to start finishing first!!!
Basically I am just looking for someone to hang out with and have some fun times. If something serious develops, that would be great, if not, I will hopefully make a new friend. If I meet someone who can introduce me to new and different experiences/restaurants/sports/hobbies, etc. ...then even better! I don't have a lot of free time, but I like to make the most of the time I do have.
I know there are a lot of wonderful people on here for us to pick through but if we sparked each others interest then we should at least be friendly and see how much chemistry we can have. Date someone special from United States. I have always pushed myself hard to do my best at everything I am involved with. I am honest and reliable. These traits have allowed me to achieve a fair amount of success in my life, even while raising my three children by myself. Now that the kids are in college, it is time for me to start enjoying all the things that I have deferred up until this time. I love the outdoors and being active. I love to travel and want to see more of the world. I like to participate in sports that are very demanding and physical (e.g., ice hockey and motocross). I am fairly conservative and believe that you generally get out of life what you put into it. I am equally comfortable negotiating a large deal, or bouncing around in my truck out in the middle of nowhere (you can't take Wyoming out of the boy). I spent 6 years as an infantry officer (Airborne/Ranger) after graduating from West Point, so I have a soft spot in my heart for veterans, and particularly wounded veterans. My company supports causes like Wounded Warriors and Project Cure. I want to explore Colorado. I want to explore Europe and Asia. I have a dream of someday splitting my time between living on a sail boat in the Caribbean, a house in the mountains, and here in Denver. I am hoping to meet a woman who is successful, self-reliant, physically fit, and ready to enjoy life. I am not looking for drama, or a dependent.
