I moved west 5 years ago and have been lucky to do a great deal of exploring in the western U.S. Six months ago if you asked me, I would have said I was very happy, alone not lonely. Almost perfect life. LOL an event earlier this year changed that reality. I realized that all the amazing things I've done and seen, mean little without someone special to share them with.
If you ask who I am, I would say that I'm a Photograher and an unskilled artist. That doesn't pay the bills. What I do to pay the bills is boring, but allows me to explore.
Who I'm looking for? I thought I really knew that answer, but Life has a way such that you should always expect the unexpected! I do know that the person I want to be with has to feel good about themselves first. You can't be happy with someone, if you are not happy with yourself. You will also need a sense of humor.
I'm not interested in drama. I believe the communication is very important, even when it is most difficult. Maybe even more important then. Being honest about how you feel is key, but never easy.
I like to get out and do things. I value my time, where I spend it and who I spend it with is important. I believe for a relationship to work you have to build a strong friendship. Without that, love won't last.

Date someone special from Grand Junction, United States. The Sales pitch: Is this what we do here?. Well single Father with a daughter in her teens. Move back to the Valley to be closer to family, Parents and daughter and others. When not working I play disk Golf, Kayaking (when we have ride able water). I watch what I eat and try to be as healthy as possible. Don't Smoke nor do I want to be around it. (Same with Drugs) Pretty much try to live a drama free life.
Spend time with my daughter who is starting High school and is an accomplished Ballroom dancer. I do not dance thought I help and do what I can to support her in her Love of dance and theater.

There is only a couple of T.V. show I watch But when it is on I tend to watch history channel or the Science channels. Not much of a chough potato, I do not follow Professional sports Some college or X games type events.

Life is meant to be shared, and I am looking for that woman who will be not only my wife and lover, but my best friend...the woman I can share all of life's experiences with. I am a handsome, fit man who is more lifestyle oriented than career oriented, an ex-cop who would love to be in the field again, but makes plenty of money in my current work. My interests are too vast to write in this ad, but chances are, if you like to do something, I probably enjoy it as well. I am a patient man, and I will not compromise on who I spend the rest of my life with. I am not looking for the perfect woman, just the perfect woman for me. I would rather remain single than be with the wrong person. I have been hurt and disappointed in the past, but I cant let the past dictate my future. I know there is a woman somewhere in Colorado who will take my breathe away, and I her's... and we would have a deep rooted connection we feel in our souls. I believe I can have a relationship with a woman where she is my best friend, and I can talk to her about anything, for hours on end, and not realize the time that has gone by. I believe there is a woman who I would love to just BE with, whether that is doing something that requires sweat, or something elegant or simple. Ever been in a room with someone without talking and NOT feel uncomfortable? That is a wonderful thing.
But this needs to be balanced with simple human nature: You cant be around someone 24/7 without going bonkers. Everyone needs alone time once in a while. But I want a relationship where at the end of that alone time, whether that be a day, or an hour, I want to return to my lady and hold her, kiss her, tell her how much I love her, and show that love in a very tangible way. When we become lovers, I want to be free to explore our passion with an open mind (some things are closed... I am not a freak, lol), knowing I can be open and honest to give and receive from my lover in ways that will leave us breathless and weak, but wanting more.
And the nude lifestyle? It is not an obsession, just a simple preference. If you have ever skinny dipped in nature, you know that feeling I am talking about. Does it conflict with being a Christian? Well, we can talk about that in the future (I am out of characters here, lol)

Date a man from Colorado, United States. Hey all. Can you really sum up who a person is based on some descriptions of likes and dislikes and self described personality traits? We human's are a lot more complicated than that but here goes. I'm an easy going guy that loves to laugh and loves the outdoors, going hiking, biking, camping, etc... just about anything active. I enjoy chasing a white ball across an expanse of grass (some might call it golf, though I'm not always so sure that's what my game is called). I love traveling ,but don't get to do it enough. I adore snorkeling and want to get certified for scuba diving. Cozumel was great, but my fantasy is to go to Austrailia and dive the Great Barrier Reef. I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for a while and it did wonders to expand my palate so I am a very adventurous eater and will try anything. My favorites are Sushi, Indian, Thai and Viet Namese food. I'm a psychologist with a successful practice. I love my job. People are endlessly fascinating. I can say from professional experience that attitude is everything so I try to keep a positive one. I prefer dogs over cats, though I have both. But my golden retriever is a much better hiking buddy than the cat is. I love music and have a wide variety of music on my Ipod. Though rock, and jazz are my favorites, I have everything from Aerosmith to Ziggy Marley and everything in between. I have two kids, a daughter in college and a teenage son with me part time. They are great kids, but they are teenagers and they just don't realize how cool their dad is anymore.
