I am originally from the South and grew up sailing with my family on the weekends. My parents had a place in the Smoky Mountains outside Boone, NC and turned us on to skiing and the outdoors at an early age. Once I skied out west I moved to Steamboat Springs and then eventually to Boulder and now Denver. If you want to meet for some turns, a show, or coffee/drink then let me know. Being a Sagittarius, I also enjoy long walks on the beach (I'm bummed there aren't any around), the color blue...no green, puppy fur with a hint of morning dew, full contact chess (wish I could go back in time. I'd take state), competitive crochet (did take State...'04 Division III National Champ), as well as, organizing and reorganizing my David Michael Hasselhoff media collection. Meet single man from Denver, United States. My least favorite chore around the house is picking up the large amounts of dog poop that accumulate in my yard. Although, when it's nice out, it's really not that bad. It beats digging ditches. I occasionally leave my house to do things outdoors (aside from poop patrol). This includes trips to my place of employment and the grocery store. I eat food daily and go to the gym frequently, often very close together. Chronologically that is, not necessarily geographically but I'm not against that sort of thing. I do refrain from eating inside the gym however, that seems unsanitary.
When I'm at the gym I always wear my headphones because I don't really want to talk to anyone. I've even worn them when the battery in my ipod is dead, no one seems to notice.
My pet peeves are extensive, and an itemized, alphabetical list could be provided if you asked for one but I would have to wonder why you would want it. What are you, some kind of weirdo?
I like to read stuff. Right now I'm reading Hunter Thompson's "Hell's Angels". In my opinion, it is the most boring thing he has written. Even more than some of his personal correspondence. Not that I've read his mail, that is a felony unless you have permission from at least one of the correspondents (similar to taping audio conversations). Since he's passed away, I can't get his permission and I doubt anyone still writes to him. I recently read Tera Patrick's autobiography and despite the fact that she claims to be unlike the other women in her profession, I would disagree. At least her book was more interesting than "Hell's Angels".
Another term for an elderly person is "Chronologically Advantaged". I learned that when I was looking up how to spell chronologically.
I like a fairly wide array of music. Lately I've been listening to The Roots a lot. The musician I've seen live the most? Lyle Lovett. I'm not sure why that is, I don't really care for his music but I seem to end up at outdoor events that he plays at. We're not friends though, we've never even met.

I’m rather tall so living in a old Victorian house or driving a VW bug were eliminated by High School Graduation along with becoming a cheesy metal rock star as I cut my mullet for the photos. I can’t say that I like watching TV as I watched 4 minutes of desperate house wives and had nightmares for 10 days. I make enough questionable decisions in a day without piling on those dilemmas. Like when ordering 5 items at Taco Bell at 3am and then deciding whether I should order a Mountain Dew to stay awake long enough to eat. Serious decisions. BTW- If that's you - don't bother contacting me as I would only want to meet someone who has ordered 6 or more items pointlessly at some point in their life. I like to do a little of a lot of things. I'm a guy, so I love playing and watching sports. I love the ocean but strangely sink like a brick without a life preserver or adult sized water wings. I also enjoy playing the guitar and watching the occasional documentary about people swimming and not drowning as they never learned to swim properly. I work in sales and marketing and I love to laugh but have unfortunately heard most of my own jokes, but not all of them yet, so I laugh at the ones I haven’t heard.
I’ve learned in my travels that some people will like you, some won’t. Oh, and some just like themselves – probably because they see themselves winning Celebrity Survivor without Celebrity status. I’m looking for someone who enjoys playing sports/being active, loves good conversation – you know – the basics.
So, what do I fear? After being in a long term relationship, I realize now that the only thing to fear is being with someone who wants to win Celebrity Survivor.
As for my match, I would love to find someone who looks great in one of those ten gallon sombreros. Actually any hat over 2 gallons would be fine. I would like to find someone who says, "are we lost again? Cool" - If you're into watching a lot of TV or 4" fingernail extensions or have 10 cats, then we're not a good match. Someone who loves to laugh, is active, and who really wonders why bears and worms are not nearly the same unless you use the adjective �gummy’ - would be a great match.
