Date a soulmate from Colorado, United States. More challenging than writing a resume and impossible to google, copy, and paste or use a Ghostwriter. Here it is...
I recently returned to the US after living/working in Mexico. I feel fortunate to be alive (MX), have a great career, family, friends, and life experiences. I am interested in meeting someone who is content with herself and life yet seeking to enhance both through sharing experiences with another.
Me? Slightly paradoxical, eclectic:
- Driven, Competitive (good natured), Assertive (respectfully), Intermittent perfectionist, Analytical, Internal Locust of Control, Responsible, Intelligent, Self Disciplined, Cultured, Como un "Border Collie" (lo busca con Google)
- Laid Back, Enjoy the experience and journey equally as I do attaining the outcome, Pensive, Patient, Slightly goofy, Adventurous, Spontaneous, Down to earth, Emotive, Introspective, Aware, Simple, Real
Strangely, my life has balance.
Who I'm looking for?
I apologize but do not have a "checklist" or standardized profile. For me it has always been about “fit” which can only be experienced. Simply, you will "get" or find yourself intrigued my self-description as well as share a simliar ideology and lifestyle.
Shake and bake...
Meet someone special from Colorado, United States. I don't make it a FT job to promote myself on here, but rather most of my time is dedicated to my career. That can change on a dime for the right situation.
I came from a unique and challenging upbringing. Will share when appropriate - just so you know, pretty much anything you can think of that could be thrown my way, was. I have learned so much about life and have so much to learn. It has made me more insightful, introspective, and at peace with who I am both as an individual, and as a contributing member of our wonderful world. I have my days, as anyone, but man I'm just so lucky to be alive. How does this sound:
- perhaps a fun hike, run @ Wash Park, biking - with or without dogs in tow.
- heading to IKEA or Home Depot to find lighting/flooring/etc for my fix-n-flip projects - then grab some pizza or a burger somewhere and shoot the breeze
- pets
- an occasional Rockies game - love the crowds.
- volunteering
- Running local 5k/10k fun runs/races - Running of The Green, Cherry Creek Sneak, the Furry Scurry @ Wash Park
- enjoying a well deserved beer after the above mentioned local 5k/10k fun runs/races
- Eating out at all kinds of restaurants - fun ones, specialty restaurants, trendy hot spots, chill local joints...LINGER, Ale House, Cherry Cricket, North, Tavern @ Wash Park or Uptown, etc.
- Speaking of food - Whole Foods :).
- working out - hitting the gym regularly, going to yoga classes (Yoga is now my 'thing' 3x a week - handstands are pretty much my 'thing'.
- pretty much anything @ Wash Park sounds great - depending where you're from - a 'cookout'/'bbq'/'grilling out' - did I miss any? :)
- Wash Park, cont'd - running, walking my dog, volleyball, some fun 'corn hole'/'bean bag tossing' and other fun leisure games among friends.
- Happy Hour here and there, especially on an awesome patio soaking up some warm sun!
- Watching some movies while eating some popcorn at home or at the theatre. Chick flicks are ok with me, promise ;).
- what am I missing? If I missed some obvious ones it is bc it's 6 am when writing this. :)
- dressing up or down, depending on the occasion.
I don't expect someone to love all the above, just quite a few! :). The rest of the heavier stuff we can learn from each other over time - like values, beliefs, you get the idea - personal stuff. :)
*p.s. - send me some ideas of what I missed!
*p.s.s. I over smiley faces bc according to Google search only 7% of what we 'say' is actually properly communicated through words - the other 93% is Tone and visual cues - just sayin'....
Email me back - i look forward to the 7%. ;)

Date a soulmate from United States. Looking for a partner and friend to explore all this wonderfull world and state we live in has to offer. Enjoy last minute/spur of the moment trips with only a rough itinerary or destination in mind. I have been fortunate to have traveled to some interesting places and seen different cultures first-hand. When you come back home it gives you an even bigger appreciation for all that we have here. More importantly it makes you want to get out there and enjoy it while we can.
I would love to find a friend to join me on adventures with as well as just enjoying each others company. Summer time comes and I am looking to spend free time outside. Lets head over to Crested Butte and go play on all of their amazing trails. Do a full moon climb on a 14er to be greeted with a sunrise summit. Or just decompress next to a high mountain stream and enjoy the solitude. A summer afternoon spent on a patio sharing life experiences and revelations can leave a lasting impression in one's mind and soul just as much as watching the sun rise from the summit of a mountain chasing all of the nights shadows away.
Fun can be found inside just as much outside. Love people watching and deep discussions on life, politics, and people. Let's spend an afternoon downtown and create a random storyline for people we pick out of the crowds. Better yet, let's do the same while wandering the halls of the Denver Art Museum. A serious tickle session like we were kids can be entertaining as well. There is always more to explore if you continue to dig.
When it all comes down it is not really about your final destination but your journey getting there. Think about it! When it is all said and done we all end up buried in the ground or burned up into carbon in the fire. How we each end up getting to that final point is what life is really all about. Hence, the meaning of the word, "Life". ;) Sorry, got a little deep on that one but I meant to say let's go out and do something we always wanted to do.
If any of this sparks your curiousity I would love to hear from you.
"A man can sit on a hot stove for a second and it feels like an hour. A man can sit next to a pretty girl for an hour and it feels like a second. That is relativity." Albert Einstein.
Meet someone special from United States. Thanks for clicking on me. I know you wouldn't just click anywhere, so I do feel special lol. I'm Chad. I've been living in Denver for just over a year now and it's been one of the best years of my life. I am a Colorado native. Born in Englewood, but grew up in Lake Charles, LA. I've also lived in Austin, San Antonio, and New Orleans. I was a National Guard medic in Desert Storm back in the day. Hurricane Rita destroyed my apartment in 2005, so I moved to back to Colorado. Best decision I've ever made.
I'm an energetic, positive, fun person. I can get up early and stay up late. Life is too short not to get best out of the good times. I'm as happy as I can be single. I think it's time to find someone that I can make happy too. Someone really special. A lady who is open-minded, enjoys learning new things, and hearing new music. Someone who cares about herself and others. Not someone who is not mentally diseased or addicted to anything. I don't drink too much anymore, but I could still be with someone who likes to have a drink. However, if you have to get wasted to have a good time or need a buzz to be normal, we're probably not gonna make it.
I'm not a picky person. I really think some of you out there are being way too picky and shallow. I know that I'm a little different. My interests are all over the place in every category. So what? Give something different a chance. I'll spice your life (and food) up a little. I'm still so new to my hometown. There's so much to do and see. I can't wait for the Broncos season to start. I'm going to see Cake and Thievery Corp at Red Rocks in a few weeks. I want to find more Disc golf courses all over the state. Taking a gf to Telluride or Aspen for skiing and a concert for a weekend would be so much fun (I might try snowboarding again, but I need a lot of practice. I'm really bad). I'm ready to take Sequoia to the mountains for some hiking, climbing, camping, snowshoeing, partying, hot-tubbing; you get the point. I want to travel all over the world (going to NYC for the first time in October). I'm definitely going to see some modern art while I'm there. I love all kinds of art. I've got to see, watch, or listen to it as much as I can. I'm also going to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Garbage.
About my work/career. I know that even though a lot of you are sweet, you're not looking for a bum. I've been working for a wind energy company for about a year now and I love it. There's a bunch of fun, crazy dudes at work and I have fun all day with them. I am so proud to work for a company that produces energy in a way that doesn't hurt the environment and also reduces our need for foreign oil. I was the last guy in my department to get hired. I feel very strong about my chances to get promoted within the company and move up to a higher income status. I'm trying to build a future right now not just for me, but for a wonderful lady (and family, hopefully) that I know that I'll have someday soon. The question is: Who will it be? Are you out there enough to be in here? (Whatever the hell that means lol).
If you want to know anything else in regards to faith, alcohol, work, interests, my past, or Mary Jane, just go ahead and ask. I'm pretty laid-back, open-minded, and drama-free. My girlfriend would definitely be someone who is comfortable enough to ask or talk about anything without holding back and being fake. I'm all about being open and honest and I'm looking for the same. I don't like people that are selfish, self-centered, overly jealous, and paranoid about everything.
So thats my new version of About Me. I hope it's better and one of you foxes takes a chance on me. I've been on match for about a month and a half now. It's been really fun and exciting sometimes, and disappointing/depressing other times. The dating scene as always been rough for me. But I know that if I keep trying to learn and get better on every date, I'll find a wonderful woman.
Have a great day!
Chad
Date a man from United States. The best word that would describe me is probably adventurous. Simply put: I like to try new things, whether it's food, outdoor activities, learn a language, going to an exotic travel etc.
I like to travel and I try to do at least one oversea travel every year. My work is what gets in the way : I don't have enough vacation to go everywhere I want to go! I've also started exploring more the US (weekend trips) since it is somewhat easy to travel inside the states.
I like to go out and try new restaurants, or stay home and cook (or try to) with a glass of wine. One of my hobby is playing music and I am getting relatively busy with that (subbing for some bands and etc). I need to play outside at least once a week... more if I can. It keeps my life more balanced I found.
So... I am looking for someone to simply share some or all my passions. Cuz everything has to be done with passion, right?
Meet single man from United States. I'm a Midwestern transplant. Lived in CA (South Bay and Lake Tahoe) before moving to CO. I'm a former college athlete (quaterback,) but I'm not really into mainstream professional sports. I enjoyed playing, not really into spending my free time watching others play. I do enjoy watching a close NFL game however. I could care less about the Nuggets or the Avalanche, sorry. I love The Daily Show, Colbert Report and tend to lean to the left politically. I have a few "conservative" points of view...which I'd love to discuss. : )
I'd like to find an open-minded, honest, attractive, smart, happy woman who enjoys art, and travel. My favorite authors, in order, are:
Henry Miller, Hunter Thompson, Charles Bukowski, Herman Hesse....and one of my all time favorite books is "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance." I'm obsessed with my Heritage Softail (Harley Davidson) and I'm also obsessed with watching documentary films.
I love architecture and modern design. Some of my fav Pandora/Spotify stations (bands) are:
Brian Jonestown Massacre, Singapore Sling, Black Keys, Dolly Rocker Movement, LCD Soundsystem, Beta Band, Morning After Girls, Queens of the Stoneage, Eagles of Death Metal, Tweakbird, Clutch, Waylon Jennings.
I weld, and build furniture. I like to tinker and can fix stuff when it's broken. I'm not into organized religion. So, if you are a bible thumper, I hope it gives you what you need. Just don't force that nonsense onto others, including me. : )
I travel a lot for work, so please be patient if I happen to be out of town for a week or two.
Cheers,
Matt
Date a soulmate from Denver, United States. There are so many great things to do in Colorado, whether it's warm or cold, and so many great places to enjoy it makes it is tough to ever leave! I love the Italian coast to the Swiss Alps and look forward to going back. Some great places I have really enjoyed have been Pamplona, Queenstown, Amsterdam, Munich, Rome, Venice, the top of Kili and the Italian Riviera. It's amazing going through the small towns in any country to have authentic cultural experiences.
I grew up in Indiana and have solid values Midwesterners share. Before moving to Colorado 14 years ago I had lived in Alabama and then Georgia (during the Olympics, fantastaic). I am a positive person who enjoys a variety of things from being outdoors and hiking to relaxing and just going to dinner sipping on some wine. I surround myself with good people that laugh a lot and are fun to be with, they are a reflection of who I am. As well, I am caring, empathetic and do what I say since trust is essential to any relationship. I believe it is important to continue developing as a person since life is a journey and you make out of it what you are willing to put into it.
I am looking to meet someone to develop a friendship and possibly more if the chemistry is there. This person would be open minded, ejoys the outdoors, isn't into games, is a positive person and can find enjoyment in anything...even playing golf :)
Some things that give me the greatest joys:
my son
family and friends
meteor showers
soft beach sand
a good campsite
good music (especially at Red Rocks)
funny people
Auburn football
Hockey
exploring new places
Meet someone special from Denver, United States. According to my Mother, I am quite the catch. I believe that my Grandmother feels this way also. So, there you go. Personal recommendations from two thoroughly independent and disassociated parties. I love long walks in the rain, kissing babies, helping the elderly and am currently working on a viable solution to world hunger. In my downtime, I enjoy playing the jazz flute, beatboxing, playing World of Warcraft video games, creating origami figurines of my favorite Harry Potter characters and planning which NFL team jersey I will wear to work on Fridays. I know what you’re thinking – "WOW! This guy IS a catch.”
Seriously, here’s the skinny: I enjoy Denver, California, soccer, travel, outdoors, skiing, snowboarding, great friends, blah, blah, blah. Based on my preferences, I am (according to Match.com) apparently compatible with approximately 12,327 single women. :)
So, in an effort to narrow down the search, I thought I might attempt to better communicate my thoughts and expectations as I work my way through this process of comedy we call online dating. Yes, I am fully aware that such communication goes wholly against my male DNA so please bear with me as my presentation may seem scattered and convoluted at best:
I’m looking for a best friend. That's it. I believe it to be that simple. I think of all the natural components of a “best friend” relationship and that’s what I want and expect from a partner. It took me about 37 years to fully grasp this concept but, once I decided to put on my "big boy pants", I have looked forward with great anticipation to finding my best friend, falling in love and creating a new and exciting future together. I want and expect adventure, laughter, intimacy, excitement, communication, constant growth and spirituality. I want to meet someone that challenges me on a daily basis to be a great individual and expects the same in return.
If you play with enthusiasm, enjoy intelligent conversation, laugh, work hard, appreciate down time, pursue physical endeavors, disdain drama and seek perpetual self-improvement then I would love the opportunity to speak with you further.
Now that we have covered the standard “what I’m looking for - please don’t be crazy” portion of the profile, I offer the following in an effort to expand beyond the basics:
My break dancing skills are not legendary. I am convinced that this has limited my ability to meet quality women. However, I am working out the kinks on my Bernie and Dougie and am confident that such newfound skills will elevate my desirability.*I refuse to tweet but I am awesome at jumping rope.*Cheetos freak me out.*Karaoke, Brett Favre and Teva's drive me bonkers.*I believe that Breakin’ It 2: Electric Boogaloo is the greatest breakdancing movie ever.*I find Bill and Karolyn Slowsky to be quite amusing.*I miss Road House’ and Point Break’ Patrick Swayze but not Ghost’ or Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights’ Patrick Swayze.*I’m allergic to cats.*I have season tickets for DU hockey and the Colorado Symphony.*I have yet to “plank” or “Tebow”.*Claire Forlani is my #1.*If I had to choose…Mongolia, Vietnam, India, Italy and Nepal are my favorites thus far.*I can pretty much guarantee that I will never sport a mustache, the ill-conceived soul patch or the Rap Industry Standard.*I am not a hunter. For that matter, I guess I am not a gatherer either.*I want to get randomly and silly drunk with my girlfriend on a Sunday afternoon.*I do not have any tattoos. I could never quite decide which type of butterfly or which location: ankle or lower back?*The proper use of 'who' vs. 'whom' still manages to keep me awake at night.*My 1st kiss was on the log ride at Six Flags in 6th grade. It was not a pleasant experience. I was very confused as to what to do with my tongue. Yep, I'm still single. :)
