Apparently you can't unless you're comfortable being like everyone else, which I'm not. So here goes...I'm a very self-confident, fun and personable guy. The reality is that I'm a boat load of fun, a bit of a smart ass, and the one that everyone wants to make sure can come join the party. If I meet your family, chances are we’re going to hit it off. Same goes for your friends. I’m the guy that tends to get along with everyone and can bring anyone out of the dumps. My closest friends always joke that internet dating is not the right venue for me since it’s hard for my personality to come through in a profile. So the quote in my tagline, along with “you never see a hearse towing a U-Haul” are two of my favorites and I think a pretty good indication of my philosophies on life. Although I’m very comfortable approaching new people out in the �real world’ (yes, there is some hidden humor in that and Match is not my only avenue for dating), I’ll blame the first quote for pushing me to this website. As far as the U-haul quote, I’m a firm believer in living a well-balanced life that is built upon certain indulgences and sacrifices at the same time. I’m the first to go spend money on new toys, nice dinners, trips, etc.; however, I’m also responsible enough to invest certain time, energy, and money into planning my future. I insert such balance in my life as much as possible -- whether it’s being adventurous and trying new things; finding a way to expose myself to new social groups; investing time and energy in my rental property; or spending a few extra hours at work to advance my career one week, and then following it up the next week with a few extra hours in the gym to invest in myself. In the end, I tend to work hard and play hard and rarely am I sitting still.
I grew up on the east coast and came to Colorado 15 years ago to be with family, friends, and to enjoy the incredible weather and outdoors. I love to hike, camp, fly fish and generally just enjoy the outdoors; however, those things are always much more fun with a companion. I’m equally as comfortable hitting the Denver nightlife, whether it’s going to neighborhood bars (I’m not a fan of the downtown scene) or a show at the DCPA. Like many people I know, I was originally drawn to Colorado for the winters (and snowboarding) but quickly realized that the summers are what keeps me here. I'm a social person that loves meeting new people and spending time with my friends and family. I've been described by others as very outgoing/personable and 'comfortable in my own skin'. Those closest to me know that I'm a well-grounded, stable, and fun person that will soon find my perfect companion.
