Date men from United States / Colorado / Aspen, 40 year old

Date single man from Aspen, United States. I am here to find a stable relationship the type that will never fade and with a woman who really have the fear Of God and must love God more then her everything and she must also be easy-going type that special someone who really understand the nature and its beauty the love that is hidden in the eyes of her special partner and must be ready to give out love so as she will be loved back.it is also my desire is to meet a beautiful ( heart as it defines true love ), sensitive, sensuous, warm, assertive single woman who wants a friend. My interpretation of a friend is one to whom you can pour out all the contents of your heart, chaff and grain together, knowing that the gentleness of hands will take it all, sift it, keep that which is worth keeping and, with a breath of kindness, blow the rest away. I thank you in advance for allowing me to be that kind of friend to you

Meet a man from Aspen, United States. I'm just a mellow guy who likes the simple pleasures in life. A hike on a sunny day, staring at the stars, catching up with old friends. Good wine and conversation. Or terrible wine and great conversation. I love the outdoors, travel, and adventure.
I'm looking for a drama-free connection with someone who is interesting and fires my imagination. Challenging is good so long as it is rewarding. I am at a good place in my life and therefore am attracted to positive, happy people with some direction in life. Romance happens when and if it is meant to. Real friendships last forever.
Active and fit a must. Sense of humor a bonus.
No mean girls, please.

Date a soulmate from Aspen, United States. I want for somekinda relationship which is authentic and real, open and true, eternally growing and enduring. Whatever the case, life is short...summer is even shorter...let's just go for hike, share a pint of ice cream, and go from there. Nothing can be done...Anything is possible!
Stuff I dig: NPR, big wooden desks, walking slowly uphill, fireflies, string instruments, community, wool, cheese, River Run, the vanilla ice cream in Sweden, card games, chopping wood, A Prairie Home Companion, stories, love letters, the psychosis of Leo Tolstoy, Indian food, the poetry of David Whyte, traditional Japanese pottery, ginger, handcut stone, rusty metal, snoozing, hats, porches, rocking chairs, chess, baseball (and other games without clocks), Cold Mountain, sleeping outside, potatoes, second hand stuff, Bikram yoga, diet dr. pepper float, Ben and Jerry's Wavy Gravy, curried whatever, campfires, girls who smell like a campfire, used bookstores, trail running, Nutella, spiced eggnog, wild and open spaces, This American Life, growth, reflection, rootedness, the seasons, Bonsai, two lane highways through forgotten places, ...
Stuff I don't dig: tangled sheets, alarm clocks, wearing suits in the city in the summer (never actually done this but simply dread the silly idea of it), haircuts, icy windshields, foggy goggles, fine print, hot pavement, burnt popcorn, catheters, gas powered leaf blowers, Rush Limbaugh, traffic, hidden fees, rug burn, brain freeze, dog poo on my shoe, mice that insist on living indoors, automated responses, styrofoam popcorn, litterbugs, cigarette smoke, clothes which demand ironing, misplacing things,...

Meet someone special from Aspen, United States. I'm a pretty happy and relaxed person. Very active, constantly involved in one activity or another. Love the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing etc. I desire a smart, active, happy and fun woman, who has a level of morals, but still likes to go have a good time.

Date single man from Colorado, United States. I am alive, strong, silent, confident, accommodating, optimistic, satirical, witty, kind, a little edgy, tall, dark...
What I’m doing with my life: I have my moments...kids, working, driving, observing, fixer-upping, playing, cooking, giving, diversifying, dining, volunteering, recharging, not doing photo shoots, traveling, living, skiing. Ask for details...I'll try not to impress you later ; )
I’m really good at burying trash, working on stuff, finding my way, reading people, cooking, pool, writing really long government memos, charming, strumming my six-string, hitting golf balls, skiing, home-brewing, cribbage, listening, kissing, being there for my friends and family - work zone in progress...
The first three things people usually notice about me are my sense of humor and inability to count, two-steps ahead, I am a Juggernaut, I clean up well too...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food: Epic and classic books plus a lot of non-fiction. Suspense, action, and spy movies. All music especially barbershop quartets, alternative/techno not so much. Most any cuisine, although not a fan of liver, onions or licorice.
The six things I could never do without oxygen, coffee, laughter, travel, friends, and family. My sons matter more tho.
I spend a lot of time thinking about trash, friends and family, finding humor in things, hoppy beers, what should I be doing, that next epiphany...serendipity.
"Life is a daring adventure or nothing at all"
"I'd never be a member of a club that would have the likes of me as a member"
“Beer is proof there is a God, and that he loves us and wants us to be happy”
On a typical Friday night I am sometimes with my two sons ages 11 and 9 - they're the best, or its socializing with friends, sometimes at an event or show, sometimes doing chores, sometimes on a date, sometimes none of the above. I think relationships are what's important in life. What we do doesn't matter so much as that we are with each other.
And, I don't think you can really get to know much about anyone online...how a transforming chemical-biological reaction occurs between two people is a mystery to me, so I just try to be myself and have fun, meet someone in the middle and hope that means the same thing. My profile is probably a little short and too PC, but oh well, if it ain't completely broke don't fix it.
You should message me and tell me what you like.

Meet a man from Colorado, United States. A great philosopher once said; "I am what I am"
-Popeye the Sailor Man
I love the mountains and everything about them. In the winter there's skiing and in the summers there's hiking, and camping. Hiking up to a 14,000' peak and looking over the whole valley is like standing on top of the world. I also love the beach and everything about it. Mostly SCUBA diving. I love to be active and need someone who can keep up, can you? I'm originally from North Carolina, but grew up mostly in Southern California and have lived everywhere in between. I'm a beach boy/southern gentleman, so I know how to treat a lady. The only problem is that I haven't met too many lately. I don't like to play games, so save your arrogance, shallowness, and drama for someone who can tolerate it. I'm strait-forward and speak my mind. I believe that honesty and trust are two major components in any relationship. My friends and family are a big part of my life. Keeping those who are important to you close, helps keep you grounded. Having a sense of humor is also a biggy, but doesn't everyone think they have a sense of humor? I love to laugh and especially make others laugh , so as I get to know you I will definitely act silly, even ridiculous at times (almost dork like). I do enjoy cooking. Someone once said, "You have to approach love and cooking the same way, with reckless abandonment." I love life and live it to its fullest. I do believe that spontaneity and reckless abandonment can be good things. I'm looking for someone who can be reserved and composed, but who can let her hair down and live it up! Someone who has an adventurous side and is willing to try new things and overcome their fears. You know, the perfect woman.
