First things first...photos. Lets face it that you looked at my pictures before my profile and if I didn't have pictures posted you probably would have skipped me completely (nothing creepier than getting a wink from someone who doesn't have pictures). But since you have seen all my photos by now and made it this far I might have passed the initial screening process. Go me!
So a little about me...used to be an acquisitions officer in the Air Force (spent lots of money) but got out to pursue less bureaucratic and less political endeavors. So I started a business doing engineering stuff and have been surviving at the since 2007. We'll see how long that lasts but if not I can always go work for the man again but only as a last resort.
I work out daily since I don't have a lady to take up that free time (hint, wink, nod). I am also an apprentice coach at Crossfit Washpark. I have gathered from a number of the female profiles that you tend to run across a number of guy profiles showing the topless bathroom mirror shot. I don't have one of those posted but i am sure you can find one at the previously mentioned Crossfit website if you are so inclined to verify the my "body type". And now the bad news....I am not six foot tall or above. Sorry...just average 5'10" but just think that when buying clothes I am so much easier to buy for!
When not working or working out I like to get outdoors, go to a movie, tinker on my ukulele, or hang out with friends over a fine beer. All of those things would be more preferable with a special lady.
Ch 2 - WHO I'M LOOKING FOR
If you made it this far you might qualify. While everything starts with a simple meeting or first date I am looking for someone who is not afraid of the word relationship. I want to find someone who makes me happy and someone that I can make smile everyday. Cheesy I know but I hope it is out there. I think the best blend of that is a friend, lover, and companion. I don't like drama. I want honesty. Someone who takes care of themselves. Someone who is down to earth. And finally.....don't be evil.
Meet a man from Denver, United States. I am an independent mid thirties single man hoping to find "the one". I've had very limited luck through the normal channels so I figured I'd try the internet route once or twice to see if there's something to this. I guess the idea that algorithms can match me up with a good fit seems as logical as anything else I've tried so what the hell.
I stay pretty busy between my job selling electrical equipment and a side venture filming concerts while volunteering about ten hours a week coaching sports in Montbello. I like to read, exercise, ski, golf, hike, and learn. I'm a deep thinker and probably an "over-thinker". I grew up in Alabama and have lived in Washington DC, Memphis, Nashville, Orlando and Atlanta (in that order since college) and have been in Denver for four years. I studied political science and philosophy in college but turned to business when I realized neither of those offered rewarding occupational opportunities. I grew up religiously in a Presbyterian household but have since lost most of my zeal for religion, although I remain quite spiritual. I drink and smoke although I know I will quit the latter once I've got a good reason. My crazy days are behind me but they still sneak up on me once or twice a year.
I am looking for someone I can talk with, laugh with, and be honest with. I want someone who is not afraid to speak their mind but is also caring and compassionate. Intelligence is very important to me and while I don't necessarily want to be with someone who is academic, it would be nice to be able to discuss important issues deeply. Ideally she would want to have a family at some point but not be so driven by the idea that it permeates everything else.

I have recently moved to Denver from back east and although I know a few people in the area, I am excited about the prospects of meeting new people and having a fun time exploring all the Colorado has to offer.
Basically I want to enjoy all that I can and it is more fun when you can share that experience with someone else. I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, cliches, restaurants, laughing, goIng to cultural events, and socializing with quality people.

So far I am loving the Colorado lifestyle. I am trying to get out and enjoy the outdoors as much as possible and enjoy the beauty of the mountains when going for a hike or hitting the river to go fly-fishing.
Family is very important to me and I am the uncle to seven nieces. One of the many reasons I moved to Denver is to be close to the three nieces that live here and I enjoy spending a lot of time with them. I try to be the best uncle that I can be! My nieces also have a Burnese puppy that I help take care of and take to Wash Park.
I played football for a while when I was in college which eventually led to several years coaching football and track and field. Since coming here I have taken on the job as a volunteer soccer coach for one of my niece's soccer teams. It is an U6 team called the Flower Power which should be a lot of fun.
I enjoy sports (playing and watching), but watching sports does not rule my life. I enjoy just as much going to a concert, museum, movies, or just some fun conversation over dinner or a beverage.
I love to cook, enjoy trying new recipes, and being creative in the kitchen.
I am always open to trying new things, getting out, and having new experiences. I can't wait to meet new people...do you want to be one of them?

I just recently started going to school to pursue a degree in either Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy. I have had a few injuries in my life and found a lot of help from a variety of different therapies. Experiencing the recovery process first hand sparked a desire in me to help others heal from whatever life may have handed them.
I am also a Triplet and have a very special bond with my brother and sister. It is awesome to have two people that know me inside and out and will always be there with love and support.
