Date someone special from Colorado, United States. A little bit about me. I believe in being grateful for all you have, be it a lot or a little. But having a lot can be more fun! That said, "a lot" can be defined in many different ways... I want to spend my life having a good time yet working hard, being around good people, and enjoying every moment. Having a sense of humor in this world is really important and I appreciate people who can see the lighter side of things. I can laugh at myself and can be a bit sarcastic. If you take yourself too seriously and can't also laugh at yourself, we'll never have enough fun. I also prefer to be around people who are glass half full. Its a crazy world, it isn't always pleasant, and some people just roll with that better and deal with it more productively. Personally, I like to laugh at the absurdity of it all. But we're all human and I can be a shoulder to cry on sometimes. ;) I don't see anything wrong with men acting like men, and women acting like women...call me old fashioned if you must... But I know its the 21st century and I can really appreciate an independent, educated woman with a career, etc. And hey, I like to cook (good healthy food is huge with me)...see, I'm not totally old fashioned! I'm a CO native and though I lived back east for quite a few years, I love being back here. I love music and play the saxophone and guitar. I'm into jazz, blues, funk, classic R&B, world music, etc...if it inspires me I like it, whatever it is. I also enjoy painting and drawing. I'm very active physically and get a ton of exercise. I'd like to meet a beautiful and intelligent woman who takes care of herself too. I have a great job in an industry I love which is a real blessing. I also nurture my geeky side with a side business building guitar amplifiers. I'm itching to do more traveling, and want to see and experience more of the world. I'm ambitious yet laid back and I don't believe that being happy with what you have and striving for more have to be mutually exclusive.
Meet a man from Colorado, United States. Thanks for checking out my profile! To get the conversation started, here are a few things that you might like to know about me:
I'm not shy or quiet - and I'm pretty fun to hang out with, if I do say so myself.
I'm also humble...
I like to stay active, but I don't do a Fourteener every weekend or have a second home in a tree in Idaho Springs.
I like to camp from time to time, but mostly I'm a different kind of outdoorsy - I like sports, and walks, and I like warm patios with a cold beer...and lots and lots of laughing!
I'm at a place in my life where I'm on a roll career-wise, I've got a great group of friends, and I have an amazing relationship with my family.
I'd like to complete that picture with an intelligent, adventurous woman who's also my best friend, but for now let's just to on a date. Let's laugh and be spontaneous and see what happens from there!
Sound like fun?
Date a soulmate from Colorado, United States. I've recorded a few rock CDs (I played piano and sang), worn out the Orient Express lift on the backside of Vail, ghost-written wedding toasts and been lost in Barcelona. I like team sports, hockey and baseball especially, but these days I ski, run and ride my mountain bike. I like to make people laugh and I'm always trying to learn, improve myself and get the most out of life.
I produce videos and make documentaries (two have been in the Aspen Shortsfest and Adventure Film Fest). I'm a video production manager for a university, and I have taught classes. I like metaphor and gingerbread, and avoid pretentious people.
I'd like to meet someone who: has an open mind and can laugh at herself, is active even if not a big sports fan or athlete, artistic/creative or appreciates learning new things, independent but ready for a partner to have fun with.
Meet single man from Colorado, United States. here for the first time. looking for someone to hang out with. not sure where this will take me but finally realized it might be worth a try. haven't been meeting the right people so here's to a new adventure.
Date someone special from United States. I’m a warm, athletic, fun, emotionally mature man, looking for a woman who’s long-term relationship material. I’m deeply satisfied with my day-to-day life: good job, great friends, never a shortage of interesting places to go or people to meet. Yet with the right person, life could get even better. The woman in my life who will stick around has great self-confidence and believes in doing something in the world that’s bigger than herself. She’s fun, intelligent, and active enough to keep up with me. She’s excited to stir up trouble, set out on adventures, or star in our own conspiracy theories. Together we support each others’ dreams and work together to become stronger individually and as a couple – making us able to bend the laws of math so that 1 plus 1 somehow equals 3.
Meet a man from United States. Anyone who can give a true and accurate description of themselves in one of these short little spaces can't really be that interesting. We're more complex. The best we can do is try to give a good idea... So here's a broad stroke:
I am happy and grateful for my place in this world and wish to embrace the best of what life has to offer.
I am always up for trying new activities and adventures. I enjoy donating my time and sharing it with great people or great causes!
I am one of the people who rarely says no and it has always created a ton of fun and rewarding experiences.
I am optimistic, fun, witty and have a genuine interest in other people.
Favorite qualities in a date:
- Attractiveness is important - both physical and mental. I have the greatest time with those that know how to have engaging conversations - which includes sharing ideas, observations and most importantly ability to both answer and ask engaging questions
- Laughter & smiling- these are such great things we get to do in life
- Someone who can will occasionally do something they may not like just to be with great company
- Someone who can laugh at themselves
- Someone who can make a great day even if it starts badly
- Someone who is nice
Divorced: Yes I am divorced. I was only married for about 9 months and really I don't regret it and gladly experience it again in life. Its just that sometimes life throws you a few curve balls.
Date a soulmate from United States. Not sure what to write on here, i guess until we meet these are just words..but here you go:
Life has been an amazing journey, I grew up in a beautiful city on the mediterranean and then decided to attend graduate business school in Denver. I have been living in Denver for the past 11 years.
I work in Business, Architecture and Design, and i have few other interests as well. I like to travel and I really enjoy urban experiences and city adventures. I'm very social and love to stay active.
Meet single man from United States. Umm I hate this part I'm a bit of a loner and quiet but can be loud and in charge, I guess. I try to be very open and I don't like to lie, that just makes things more difficult. I love nature and all of its intricate anomalies, imperfection is the truest form of perfection. I love to laugh and joke, I can be very quick witted and sharp but I can also be very attentive.
I desire honesty and loyalty and trust in a relationship so much so that the truth acts as a solvent and can usually wash away all the negativity. But on a date I kinda like a fifty-fifty idea.
Date someone special from Denver, United States. Hmm...let's see. Seems like everyone here likes the outdoors, good beer/wine, food, is spontaneous/fun/energetic and is pretty laid back when they're not doing something awesome with their free time. Let's just say I also have all those traits. To be more specific:
I really like to be outside. In the winter I work as a ski patroller. I live in the mountains on the weekdays and Denver on the weekends. This schedule is not ideal for dating but I really, really love my job and the upside is I have two homes and one of them has a hot tub. I try to go backcountry snowboarding or skiing on the weekends regularly, usually with my dog.
-
I have a dog, he is awesome. His name is Gnocchi. This is either A: a delicious potato pasta or B: a slang term for someone from Uruguay or Paraguay who receives a government paycheck due to a family connection but does not actually work. He's more the latter.
In the summer I teach environmental and outdoor education to teens and adults. This job is quite different from, but equally as wonderful as, my winter job. I try to do as much rock climbing, mountain biking, and backpacking as I can in the summer; usually with the aforementioned dog.
I like to garden. Am a fan of cinema both artsy and mindlessly entertaining. I play guitar badly, percussion just a little bit better, and i can sing a pretty mean harmony.
I like sports. I'm usually on some kind of coed team year round. Most recently soccer, basketball, and ultimate. I'm decent at several others. What skill I lack I make up for in enthusiasm and bounciness.
Essentially I really like where I'm at in life except for the lack of possibly...you. If these are things you're into then we should hang out. Good luck to you either way. And have a great day.I
Meet a man from Denver, United States. I enjoy doing a number of things out side of the bars and night clubs. In my past, I have had my fun with partying and being wild and crazy. ;) I do not want that wild life any more and want to settle down. It is time to move forward and find different avenues of having fun.
Moving around every two year and meeting new people can be very exciting and fun but can also be exhausting. It is time for me to finally choose this great state to settle down. CO has so many great things to offer. I have started planting my roots here. I recently bought a place in the Denver area.
One of my favorite things to do is be in nature to admire it's beauty and be in awe of it. I love hanging out with family in the Boulder area. They are big reason for me moving to Denver. They are a joy to be around. Two of my nieces are young enough that isl cool to hang out with their favorite uncle and the other niece is 16 years old and at least acknowledges me.
I am looking for someone to explore Denver metro area and the mountains. I would like to be with some one that values honesty, respect, sense of humor, and intelligence.
Date a soulmate from Denver, United States. I have realized that I don't want my job to be my life. I enjoy what I do, but I would like to have something/someone for which I am working.
I want some one to enjoy life with. Someone that makes me a better person and in turn I do the same for them. Someone that I can make laugh. Someone that looks at me funny then laughs when my jokes are less than stellar....we will both know it missed the mark.
Meet single man from Denver, United States. well i guess i am on a dating site because i am ready for that next part of my life where i take adventures and spend time with someone that i care about.. i am an independent person and although i feel that is a great quality, i would also very much enjoy having someone to depend on in a mutual relationship. family is really important to me and someday i would like to have one of my own.. its the simple things in life that matter the most. i am down to earth and am looking for someone who is also cool and casual and appreciates the finer things in life (as long as we can afford them!).. i want to travel, eat well, and above all - have fun!
