traveling some to take my daughter to check out colleges this summer. am excited for her but know it will be bittersweet. my son is going into 8th grade in the fall so I'm still a few years away from emptying the nest. when that happens, I do want to live close to the ocean but will likely keep a place here at least for a few years. possible landing spots include Santa Barbara or one of the great little beach communities like San Clemente on the Pacific. I have a house on Long Island which is great and I am a die-hard NYer at heart but not sure I could deal with the east coast weather again, who knows.

I'm open to trying new activities. I've recently been trying Pilates, and that has been very beneficial, but very different than my traditional workouts.
I like getting together with friends. I have a friend who has an old T-Bird and we went to Golden on a "Cruise Night" and saw a bunch of old hot rods/muscle cars, and cruised around in the T-Bird, and that was so much fun. It brought back a lot of memories.
