Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Denver, 34 year old - page 3

Date single man from Colorado, United States. Let's see. I'm a normal guy in search of companion for life's journey. I've realized all the girls are airbrushed in the media and there's no such thing as perfect, just perfect for me. I'm the first to admit I'm not either. I'm looking for an imperfect girl who has a lot going for her and who I just can't wait to see again. I think chemistry has a lot to do with it, but I'm usually attracted to intelligent, athletic women who can carry on a conversation and can take a joke now and then. I'm looking for someone without truckloads of unresolved baggage to bring into a relationship and who doesn't expect me to be Tim Tebow (aka perfect). I'm done with games and am just looking for someone who can become my best friend...

Meet people from Colorado, United States. Warren Buffet once said that the true way to judge ones success in life, when its all over, is not by the amount money amassed in the bank account or the size of the home(s), number of cars, number of buildings named after you, etc. Rather, it is simply by the ratio of those who you love, who actually love you back.
I believe that. And I hope, everyday, I live my life that way. Why am I on here? It's actually quite simple. I really hope to find someone out there who sees life with me through like eyes.
As far as a little about me, I love hanging out with friends, traveling, working out, love architecture and furniture (father is an architect). I love a good dinner, but only if it comes with great company, conversation, and laughs. Its amazing how great and horrible the same dish can be if you simply swap out the company surrounding it.
What am I looking for? Physically speaking I guess I just want someone who is comforatable being themselves. I am 6'5 however, and would thus prefer if she were shorter than I. But then again, thats like a sumo wrestler prefering his wife were thinner than he. :) In all seriousness, and I know how cliche' this sounds, but I simply want a person to laugh with. A lot.
If you are caring, honest, love to laugh, fun to be with, are driven but dont take anything too seriously; can talk about anything and to anyone; find success more in making stories more than making money; want to meet everyone and see everything....If you've read the poem "If' by Rudyard Kipling, and at the end of it thought to yourself "Exactly!!", then "You and I, Jenny, are like peas and carrots."

Date men and women from Colorado, United States. I moved to Colorado from Alaska a few years ago and love it here. I'm very independent, played competitive hockey for 20 seasons, love all kinds of exercise, fishing, boats, and traveling. In my posession is a PADI card that needs dusting off, shoes that ran 2 half marathons last year at the challenge of a cousin, and skis that usually get used on weekdays. Exploring more of Colorado is still high on my list. Work wise I am self employed, it gives me lots of time to do stuff, go places, and the means to get there. And I can make mean halibut tacos, not sure if that belongs in this section;) I am not a carpenter or mechanic but am pretty handy if you need a bathroom remodel, have a leaky sink, or need your oil changed (I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere!). I'm also a legit 5'-9", not 5'-11" like the hockey program used to say (let's be honest the coach wanted to make the team look bigger).
What I'm looking for; a very intelligent woman, someone with confidence, who is funny and can laugh at themselves, or laugh at me (I'm laughing 'with' you), likes telling stories, is optimistic, will start a crossword puzzle, likes cooking once in a while, and has some type of athletic ambition- whether it's yoga, running, or ultimate fighting it doesn't matter, just that you enjoy exercise and the way it makes you feel.

Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. Although it may be trite, I think a blanket statement to describe myself may be Pura Vida. Of course, every good tourist has had a little Pura Vida in Costa Rica, but I embrace the idea to its fullest. I love to travel, I cherish my time on and off work, and I am rarely caught standing still. I moved her from California just over a year ago, but I was born and raised in the South. And I will admit that I have clung to my southern ways. Let it be known that chivalry is not dead...but my friends from home claim that my accent is. Always looking for someone who loves to travel as much as I do, and who is as comfortable dancing it out on a Saturday night as hiking a mountain in the middle of the night.

Date a man from Colorado, United States. I enjoy what life has to offer. I am easy going, love having a good time with friends or just spending time with someone special. I am looking for someone who enjoys sports and the outdoors. Someone who likes to relax and watch movies. A person who loves spending time in the mountains.

Meet someone special from Colorado, United States. Hi, I'm new to Denver and looking for someone to explore my new city with. I'm enjoying the area, but would like to meet a special someone. I grew up in New York, and have lived in New Orleans and Los Angeles.
I am a laid back person out of the office, but ambitious in the office. I enjoy walking around the city exploring, and trying new restaurants and bars. I also like spending time in the mountains, skiing, hiking, and camping. I'm also really into music and like playing guitar and seeing shows. Denver seems to have nice mix of city life and great access to the outdoors.
I'm looking for a down-to-earth woman who likes to laugh and be adventurous. Someone who is comfortable in her own skin and motivated to always grow and find happiness. I enjoy traveling, and hope I can find someone who also has that desire.

Date single man from United States. Hello,
I'm a Colorado native who loves to travel, dance, entertain and enjoy the beautiful moments in life. I am artistic, creative and communicative. I am proud to say I've skied in the French Alps, hiked the Great Wall for 6km and and train hopped up and down the coast of Japan. I have lived abroad and would enjoy doing so again, but I love Colorado and call it home.
I blessed with an amazing family, my brother and sisters mean a great deal to me and its fun to see my nephews and niece growing.
I am grateful for this life and all the amazing people I know. I have a big gregarious personality and tend to make friends everywhere I go.
I am hoping to find someone who knows them self and is strong and confident. Someone to roam around the world with, taking in sites and sounds, nature, galleries, games, enjoying dancing lessons, and more.

Meet people from United States. So...where to begin...at this point in my life, when all is said and done it really boils down to sincere and valued relationships. One of my favorite authors wrote a trilogy of books titled "attachment and loss"...which, in my best estimation, approximates both meaning and motivation of life. Well...that was dry. For myself, my time is mostly spent with friends, family and my career...though my family is out of the state. I stay very active riding bicycles, skateboarding, working around the house and restoring a couple of old motorcycles. My work doesn't allow me to really work with my hands...so, during free time I like getting dirty...gardening, home remodeling and puttering around my work shop. I'm a recovering pack-rat and collector...having recently vacated a huge mass of bits and oddities.
I'm looking for a person who values honesty, intelligence and humor. Kindness and giving to others are equally important, as well as devotion to family and behaving with integrity. Once more...emotional maturity and communication are also essential. Pretty succinct.

Date men and women from United States. I was born and raised in Hawaii and brand new to Denver! Looking for friendship and love. Someone who I can laugh and have deep conversations with. I'm independent and would love to meet someone who values that as well. Friends and family are important to me.
I'd love to get to know you better and, if we're compatible, we can go from there!

Meet a soulmate from United States. I am very lucky to have experienced living in various cultures all over the world in my lifetime- it made me who I am today. I have fond memories of eating stroopwaffels in Rotterdam. Eating a huge mortadella sandwich at the Mercado Municipal in Sao Paulo, Brazil, instantly brings me flashbacks when I go the market with my mom to get groceries that regular grocery markets did not have.
This is who I am, someone that loves to explore new cultures and new foods. I will support a local business over going to a mega corporation. I love to cook and explore new tastes- who knew that chocolate pairs well with peppers, which pairs great with a 12 years old single malt?
Ideally I am looking for a woman who is open to trying new foods and going on spontaneous adventures. I enjoy cooking (it's my way to unwind and relax) and I want a woman in my life to share that with. I am also very active and you can find me riding my bike around Denver when not at work. You must also be active too- or have it be an important part of your life as well.
Message me if any of this interests you and I will message you back!

Date a man from United States. “Go as far as you can see. When you get there, you’ll see further...” I moved to Denver from Chicago in 2005 to go to grad school at DU. Like many of my classmates, I thought Denver would be a great place to spend three years masquerading as a student while playing in the mountains before returning to the real world and heading home. Graduation was four years ago. I’m not going anywhere.
I really enjoy what Denver and the surrounding area has to offer, but if I had to pick a favorite I’d say it’s the sunshine. During the winter in Chicago it can be overcast for months at a time. During the winter in Denver I like to snowboard, though I’m thinking that one of these days I’d like to switch to skiing. In the summer I play softball and hike and play pick-up volleyball in the park and am pretty much up for anything. I’m usually the tag-a-long guy as opposed to the one who plans the excursions which is likely of importance to you because it means I have friends who invite me stuff :) I run year round: Yes, even when there’s snow on the ground. (I just pretend I’m Rocky in Rocky IV when he’s training to fight the Russian.) I recently went on a camping trip to Moab where I mountain biked and climbed. I had never really mountain biked before and I loved it.
I’ve been trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up for a while and though I’ve made some sound decisions, I’ve found that there is a difference between doing what you think you’re supposed to do and doing what makes you happy. I’m very grateful to say that I find the job I have now more enjoyable than any I’ve had since I worked at an ice cream shop when I was in high school. (Oberwise, for those of you from Chicago. And seriously, that job was the best! I think there still might be some “free samples” somewhere in the back of the freezer in my parent’s garage.)
Other than that, I like to watch sports and enjoy going to sporting events. I enjoy going to concerts too, but I’ve never been much of a music buff so it would be alright with me if you are. Most people would describe me as laid back, funny and intelligent. Somebody recently told me I was “interested and interesting.” My sense of humor ranges from the silly to the devious and I love dry sarcasm. Lastly, I think it’s important that you know that my nickname in grade school was nato potato’ and that some of my friends still call me that.
As for what I’m looking for…the first thing that comes to mind is sense of humor. I’d like to meet someone with a great sense of humor. And when I say “great sense of humor” what I really mean is “laughs at my jokes”. I think that when two people laugh at the same things, it usually means that they have other important stuff in common. The second thing that comes to mind when I think about what I’m looking for is looks good in yoga pants’. But I digress :) I’d like to meet someone who’s attractive and kind, smart and fun; someone who enjoys doing all sorts of things, though by no means is any one thing required. I’m looking for someone who is emotionally available because I think this is an important part of a healthy, supportive relationship and I really would like to meet someone I can be my vulnerable, naked self with. I like being in relationships where teasing is involved, though it’s the kind of teasing that’s from a place of love and adulation and not pettiness or spite. I’d like to meet someone who is positive, fun to be around and nurturing and kind – those last two will be especially important later.
I could probably go on and on about my ideal partner and the attributes of our relationship, but the truth is that I don’t really know what either of those things will look like. I’m pretty flexible and look forward to whatever life has in store.

Meet someone special from United States. I moved to Denver a year and a half ago from Whitefish, where I lived for about 6 years. Loved northwest Montana, the last best place.. I love snowboarding in the winter (always have had a season pass at the Big Mountain, now I have the Epic), and whitewater kayaking and rafting in the summer. I like to go out and have fun, work hard/ play harder.
I moved to Denver to get into the Solar industry, and I now work in sales for a Solar company. I'm very passionate about my job and what I do, I feel that I am part of a change that needs to occur with energy demand moving forward. I work a lot, but still manage to find time to get out and enjoy my time off.
So, what I'm seeking... hmmmm.... guess that's hard to explain. I'm hoping to find someone who shares my passions and wants to enjoy each day to its fullest. Looking forward I do want to have a family and kids, but all good things in all good time. I'm looking for that kind of a special connection that I see in so many of my friends relationships and marriages; that look in their eye that you can see brings them so much happiness. I have a big heart, and want to share it with someone. I want someone that likes to be outside, likes to be active, but is not super intense about it. Someone who likes watching football in the fall, finding all the powder on the mountains, and dancing at concerts. I'm a hopeless romantic type that still truly believes in finding that one person that complements you, challenges you, and helps you grow.
Allright, enough of the cheesy stuff, Even though I'm originally from Wisconsin and love cheese (and the Green Bay Packers). So as you continue on your search, if any of this sounds like you than lets get together and see where is goes.
Life's a journey, wanna go for a ride???
