Meet people from California, United States. I love laughing, and dancing and singing badly to music, or even sans music. I am a big music junky and love everything, with the exception of rap. I am always up for listening to new bands. Currently I am in to My Chemical Romance and their new album, as well as Billy Joel, specifically the song Piano Man. I don't really watch movies or tv. When I do watch my favorite tv shows are Degrassi, Parenthood, Modern Family, Glee, and Jeopardy. I always play against my family in Jeopardy. My favorite movies of all time are Juno, Erin Brockovich, and Dirty Dancing. I am a vegetarian and love to try new foods and to create new weird and wacky dishes with unusual ingredients. My pet peeves are bad grammar, knuckle cracking, chewing gum with your mouth open, wasting water or electricity by leaving it the water running or taking long showers or leaving the lights on when not in the room, and leaving the toilet seat up and the toilet paper unrolled. Top on my list of things I hate are the smell of citrus fruits with the exception of grapefruit, the smell of wet paint, and the smell of bacon cooking. I get very annoyed and am known to correct people when they use bad grammar, especially when people say "me and him." I am kind of a health nut. I love exercising and finding new exercises/exercise classes to try. I am a dancer at heart, even though I am not very good at it, and I love taking dance classes, specifically modern and jazz. My current favorite type of cardio is Zumba. I exercise about 5-7 days a week. I also eat pretty healthy; I am an avid reader of nutrition labels and ingredients lists and tend to stay away from processed foods. I am a pretty outdoorsy person and I love, love, love the ocean. I could go swimming in it everyday for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. I love the beach and I have always wanted to live there. I have a summer home with my family on Martha's Vineyard and we have access to a boat which takes us to a private beach. I love hiking and camping and playing baseball. I enjoy any activity that involves sand or grass and ends in laughter, and am always up for trying something new as long as it doesn't involve heights as I am really afraid of them. I am a student at San Francisco State University and am planning on double majoring in Psychology and Theatre with an emphasis in Technical Theatre and Design. I have two current goals in life and have yet to choose between them, hence the two majors. One is to go to get my Masters in Social Work and work as a psychologist in the eating disorder wing of a hospital or as a psychologist for teens with body image issues. The other dream is to get my MFA in some aspect of theatre design and work professionally in theatre, in the perfect world I would work backstage on a broadway show. I want to backpack around Europe when I graduate from undergrad and before go to grad school eating all the different healthy vegetarian foods and taking tons of pictures of the different architecture. One day I hope to have traveled to all the 7 continents of the world. Overall, I just want to have a good time and enjoy myself while doing things I love. My ideal man would make me laugh, would be a student in college, would have his own goals and aspirations in life and would want me to be happy. He would also be a vegetarian and would want to travel the world with me, helping me help the world one step at a time. He would go with me wherever I went, no questions asked and be willing to travel to the ends of the Earth to be with me. He would want to be right by my side while I achieved my goals, while achieving his goals at the same time. He would love me for being me and would like all of my quirks. He would be able to introduce me to new things and be an intelligent person with many of the same interests as me.
