I like meeting new people and going to new places. Love the ocean or the mountains. I have four grown sons who I love and like to spend time with. I am grateful for my health and the emotional and spiritual growth that keeps expanding. I am outgoing and find it easy to meet new people. I probably talk way too much, but I'm working on listening.
I am interested in finding someone who is open about their feelings and thoughts and speaks honestly. This openness I speak about seems to be the key to intimacy that I'd like to pursue, but as soon as I extol the virtues of it, I'm reminded about how we all project our best self in meeting new people and hold back on things we don't even realize. I'd like emotional closeness and open expression of affection.
I like to travel and going to plays. I like to eat good food and can cook. I go into cycles when I write poetry, and I express myself well in writing. I talk way too much and am working on listening. Find myself watching too much tv when I really would prefer reading. In my youth I served in the Navy as a SEAL and have continued to enjoy diving and the ocean. I also like cycling, hiking (but I'd rather not sleep in a tent) and skiing.
I find it hard to be around cats: allergies!
