. I'm divorced & looking for that somebody special that I know exists out there. I've been on this website for way too long now. When I first signed up, I thought I was just looking for someone for companionship, nothing serious. What I've found out, with time, is that the guys that are looking for a woman who's looking for what I used to think I wanted (did that make any sense at all??) are emotionally unavailable and just conducting never-ending auditions. Now, that I have my head on straight(er), I realize I can't be happy with that. I'm just not wired that way. If I'm going to be with someone for any length of time at all, it's going to be because I care and I want them to care about me in return.
Family is very important to me. I have two grown children & they, in turn, have given me three wonderful grandkids. I'm very blessed to still have both of my parents. I enjoy cooking big family dinners & sending everyone home with plenty of leftovers. I believe in making new memories every day. Life isn't just meant to be lived -- it should be thoroughly enjoyed!! I have a mental bucket list & I intend to be able to check off each & every item listed.
I love to travel and see new things. I particularly love the beach -- somewhere in time, I think I must have been a beach bum!!!! ;-) Laughter is something I both enjoy doing and making others do . . . I kind of have a reputation for my zingy one-liners. I also enjoy both giving and receiving affection. Kissing is one of my favorite things to do and I've been told I'm pretty good at it . . .
