Meet a man from United States. Let's see..... What can I say about myself that might make someone take interest or, if I'm lucky, maybe even crack a smile? If you are looking to meet someone who you could look back at 10 years from now and say, "He's a good man." I hope I would be that guy. I try to live my life in such a way that people are actually blessed in someway for knowing me, not nauseated. I believe there are really two types of people in this world; people who make a difference, and people who just breathe up all the oxygen. With that in mind, I guess I can paint somewhat of a picture of who that guy is behind those nerdy glasses.
I am probably about as "low key" as you will ever see. I have had colleagues at work ask me if they could check my vitals to make sure I wasn't just being propped up by the chair. I never really saw myself as comatose, but I guess it just comes with age and experience. I don't think there is really anything at this point I haven't already heard about or done. So no reason to panic. The sun will yet rise again to blister my butt another day..........
I like the usual guy stuff; sports cars, Harleys, guns, ect. But I think there is a point at which I probably diverge away from the usual somewhat. I am a little anal. What I mean is, I like things somewhat clean and orderly. You know, the person who never leaves dishes in the sink, always puts away their dirty clothes, or makes their bed every morning before leaving the house. That's me. I even carry my disease to my vehicle. I would never be required to stop by a dumpster first to unload the trash out of the floor board if you wanted to ride with me.
Two things I always hear from my friends; you smell good and you look nice. I have always been a clothes whore. I have to admit, I like designer labels. Even if it is just a pair of jeans and a tee shirt, there will be meaning to my madness. But I do appreciate a good bargain. I don't consider myself to be wasteful. If you knew what retailers paid for their inventory (and I do), you would never buy anything again that didn't have a red tag attached to it. So why throw good money away at something that's just going to line the shelves at your local Salvation Army the following year?
What do I find attractive? Well it's not a brick with long legs and boobs! Seriously, I think attraction occures at many levels, but always begins with that first glance. I am assuming you know the one I am referring to. That moment in time you actually "feel" as much as you "see". How many profiles do you scroll through day after day feeling nothing until you pass that single one that actually provokes a sense of curiousity. Not just vague curiosity, but curiosity which requires you stop by again and again until you finally find the courage to do more than just look. That's precisely the moment that brings me here, and hopefully the courage to do the same. Afterwards, it's up to you.
Anyway, I guess what I am trying to say, if you like a guy who still believes in opening doors, picking up the check, and helping the elderly cross the parking lot at WalMart (street is to predictable), you just might enjoy meeting someone like me.......... Hopefully your smiling by now.
Just a quick side note, my work presently has me in Mountain View, but I will be moving to the Fayetteville area around the first of August. I just thought I would post this profile a little early to hopefully get a feel for what's going on NWA besides the HOGS! If that wasn't enough, GO HOGS!!!!

My career has been my life for a good part of my life and now i am slowing down and starting to take a bigger look at life and taking time to stop and smell the roses. I have taken this path for the last few years now and I have noticed that to many things are passing me by to often.
I have spent most of my life living in Oklahoma, work has moved me to different areas from North Corolina, New Mexico, South Dakota, Texas and now Arkansas. I have expressed to the company I work for that my traveling days must come to an end or at least a minimum distance. However, Traveling as part of my job has allowed me to see parts of the US I would have otherwise never had the opportunity to see.
Dont get me wrong though...I do love to travel, with a partner though. I love going to the ocean and walking the beaches and listening to the waves. I could set out on the deck of condo on the beach and listen to the waves all night long. I also have been to the Colorado Mnts years ago and think I would like to do that again as well. But in all reality those are things called vacations. Most weekends I Either go to the lake, spend time with my kids and family or stay home and to a good movie.
I am looking for someone who is sensative in nature,very honest, no games, caring, can go on spontaneous moment if required but knows how to plan as well. Ok, I am a physically active person who enjoys exploring new experiences. Maybe a new food – not a big fan of “100 yr old eggs”; new activity – love scuba diving; or a new culture – haven’t been to Africa yet. While still enjoying the comfort of the established (friends, family, home……).
I love music, sports, learning, friends, loving, family time, quiet time, and dancing (although those that have witnessed it would wonder why).
I love to travel: Be it immersing myself in a new culture, snow-skiing, or just lying on the beach. I always have my passport ready!!
My son is a central part of my life, so I must be with someone who is kind-hearted, likes children, and does not smoke. I love my daughter dearly, but she goes to school out of state. This makes seeing her more challenging. Besides, at nearly 18yrs old, we have reached the “Oh Dad”, “Please don’t embarrass me” stage of our lives. It has become quite apparent to me, that all my life lessons around boys having Cooties, have not taken root!!
In fairness, I do have some opportunity areas according to my children. My favorite was when I was labeled, “the central figure in the Axis of Evil” by my daughter for not letting her wear a certain dress (seriously, you could see underwear!). Although I thought her response was quite creative and timely!
Once you get to know me, I am very playful and affectionate. Although I have to get my hugs and kisses from my son PRIOR to driving up to the school drop-off zone as my son “can’t be seen doing that stuff in front of his boys”!
While I try to interject humor into my everyday life, I am very serious about my work, child rearing, relationships, and faith. I strive to be the best I can at all of them.
