Date men and women from United States / Arkansas / Fayetteville, 53 year old

Date single man from Arkansas, United States. I am happy about living life, with friends, family in peace and love with a little bump in the road sometime, I'm honest, trustworthy, and retired lots of free time for fun, would like someone to enjoy this big beautiful world with.

Meet people from Arkansas, United States. I've been married once and have a 21 year old son. Friends would describe me as outgoing, fun, energetic, trusting, giving, dependable, and humble. I like challenges, and take them on with a positive approach. Negativity is a turn off. I respect everyone who at least makes an effort...we are all relevant in some way. I really enjoy getting together with my close friends, whether we go out or just get together at home.
I would like to meet someone I find attractive who has a similar personality and body type, is positive, enjoys humor, and likes to go out and have fun, as well as enjoy hanging out at home. It would be great to meet someone, be mutually attracted, and see where it goes from there.

Date someone special from Arkansas, United States. July 2012: Replacement boat has been found and heading to a slip on the lake. Hope we get rain soon.
June 2012: Another trip to Vegas for a Black Jack tournament and just some good relaxation. The boat search is heating up and the patio season at the restaurant has done well. Will be leaving Match probably in mid July. Lots of traveling coming up and no time to cruise online. Wine Country, La Jolla to kayak the caves, Vegas for Garth Celine, and back to Key West, hopefully in the next two months.
April: 2012 And Life continues to be good. The February Vegas trip was incredible and then back to Vegas for the CMA show and also the tribute to Lionel Richie. Then home to open the patio season at the restaurant then off again for the weekend at Hot Springs and Oaklawn park. And I sold my boat. The quest for a new one begins.
January 2012: The holidays were great. Enjoyed the Florida Keys for the annual family Christmas vacation. Every year we pick a new spot - working thru part of my bucket list. The summer family trips were to the California Wine Country with my son and then to San Diego with my daughter for the San Diego Zoo and Hotel del Coronado for the beach. Now some fun travel without the kids is up. Went to Las Vegas in January and got to attend the Miss America Pageant and heading back to Vegas in February. My friends are saying I'm having too much fun, but is that really possible?
Please note: I am a "toucher". A casual, almost unnoticed brush of the hand against the back, a reaching out and holding of hands, a body lean into each other while watching the sunset. If we match, I want you in "my space" and I will be in yours.
Outgoing professional that enjoys life when not being a workaholic. But I am reducing the work schedule and going to enjoy life a little more. Recent I was explaining to my daughter why I was missing her piano recital, she asked me a profound question and it made me think...Just how much is enough? Time to enjoy life. So I have left my corporate job and its amazing how much more fun I'm having. I still stay very busy with my restaurant that I have had for 5 years now but two full time jobs was too much. Now I have time to start a new wine club with monthly tastings. Love to have any reason to open a good bottle with friends. Also I have been to the lake more this summer than I have been in the last 10 years and my daughter is all smiles. But if work is fun is it really work? Love being pampered and pampering you. Ideal match would be understanding of my busy schedule but just also encouraging of us getting away. Busy but ready to travel and have some fun. Just need some motivation to get away and enjoy life. Will you be that motivation?
I love to travel for fun, but must travel at times for work. I'm involved with NCAA women's basketball. I am learning to make those trips into joint work/fun trips. Can you handle a few hours on a trip without my attention while I work? If so, come on and go with me.
I enjoy community events, most sporting events, wine tastings, a warm fire, sitting under the stars, listening to my family and friends laugh, musicals, concerts and most Broadway plays. Any thing with water, even frozen, is always nice, especially with great sunsets. Next to my restaurant is the Walton Arts Center and they have a nice venue and nice variety of entertainment. My short list for travel includes France, Italy and Greece. But, got some place you want to go? Anywhere is fine with me.
I would like to marry at sometime. Life is fuller when you have someone to share it with. But the standards will be very high. We all want to marry someone better than ourselves don't we?
Glass half full or half empty? Who cares, I'm just happy to have a glass! Maybe someone will pour some wine in it.
Every day when I wake I feel I have been given another day for adventure. Everyday above ground is certainly a good day.

Meet a soulmate from United States. Well, I hope one day you will be the one describing who I am. I'm not sure I am unbiased enough and objective enough to give the best description, but here goes. What I hope are my best traits are unselfishness, devotion, kindness, and thoughtfullness. At least that's what my parents strived to instill and I've tried to embody. There are many things in life that I enjoy, but none really if I'm not sharing them with someone I love, or care about. I think that I'm affectionate and really enjoy being close. I enjoy physical expressions of love and affection...a touch, an embrace, a gentle kiss.
Humor is important to me. I don't know why. I just enjoy laughing with those close to me.
I've had success in my professional life, and that is somewhat important to me, but really is not what is most important. I have four wonderful grown children and that is important to me. That said, they have all left the nest, and I expect my partner, the woman I will share my experiences with, and hopefully one day the woman I say goodnight to will be the most important thing to me.
Not sure what to say I'm looking for. I think it's important to have similar joys and likes, hence the sharing thing I stated earlier....someone who's only agenda is to have a partner they can trust, rely on, have fun with, hold close when either are sad, hurt, or sick, and feel that their life is more complete and fullfilled because they love and are loved.
Well, I just read what I've written. Seems a little thick, but it's genuine, so I'm going to leave it just as it is, and hope you are interested enough to one day give a more informed opinion.
