A short update....got diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my right hip Apr. 2011...medication is wonderful, but after a few months, the side effects kick in....finally bit the bullet and have full hip replacement surgery scheduled....should be back "searching" in September!!
I won't bore you with the superlatives....we all have our wrinkles....physically and psychologically. I'll just say that I'm a nice guy who likes the simple things in life and is not into game playing, does not cheat or lie. I'm a former New Yorker, and although I've lived in AZ since 1983, still consider myself one. Yes, I'm opinionated...is that a bad thing? Politically incorrect?....that's me!
I have 2 kids (boy and girl)...both married.
I've been LEGALLY Separated for about 16 yrs. (mainly because I'm a "nice guy"...but I'll be glad to explain IF WE CONNECT....)
I have no crazy "ex's" stalking me! No illegitimate kids running around anywhere either.
My "body type"?....I'm running about 205-210 on a 5'9" frame....so you judge for yourself. In process of losing about 30 lbs.....yes I am!!! Should be much easier once I get through the hip surgery. Pardon the "mug" shots... have very few decent pics of me (that didn't break the camera), since I'm the "photographer".
The person I'm looking for must be HONEST, does not have jealousy issues, has a sense of humor, is somewhat ACTIVE, and not a game player or a "DRAMA QUEEN". (Does that person exist?) Been there...done that!
Yes, I spend way too much time on my computer and the internet, including emails ...but I don't play any of the games... I do use it to keep in touch with family and friends. Somewhat of a techie. Just call me Rocky Point Joe....on Zuckerberg's place.....LOL

My idea of dinner is not a list of fancy restaurants... but I do enjoy the occasional dinner out.
I'm not a gourmet chef, but I can whip up a perfectly reasonable dinner or barbecue a steak at home.
I enjoy a drink occasionally, and even have a few....well, maybe several....when I go to Mexico. I don't NEED a couple of drinks when I get home or with every meal.
I enjoy my hot tub, and enjoy receiving and giving a massage.
Sports? Can watch most...but it's just entertainment, nothing more.
Did downhill skiing, scuba diving, bike riding (even a little bike messenger work in NYC while in college), sailing (REALLY miss that), jetskiing (including a couple years of temporary insanity when I raced), tennis, skating, soccer refereeing (kids and adults, indoor and outdoor...maybe that's why my hip doesn't like me now?)...and more. Some I can still do or willing to try again...some I wouldn't....the bones wouldn't handle some of the falls I took at a younger age. I'd have to say that when I try something, it isn't half-way!
Probably going to work another year and half....thank you housing crash!
