Date a man from United States. Hi. I have been separated for awhile and just started the divorce process. I know the whole "still getting divorced" deal can be a red flag but when it comes down to why it has taken so long to start the divorce it was simply because I was not in a rush to drop my step-son from my insurance. I had to put it out there since it is a question that is asked all of the time (not just on Match). I would like to meet someone that doesn't mind starting off as friends because let's face it...30 or 40 years from now when we are gray and wrinkled having someone to talk to is super important (though I have to say I am getting better looking as I age) :). I have learned recently that it is not so bad being alone as my career and kids keep me busy enough.
In a partner I am looking for someone who is positive, funny, caring and just a little old fashioned. Someone who will have my coffee ready for me a few days a week because I will have it ready for her the rest of the time. She doesn't have to be a workout buff but someone who would like to take the occasional hike, walk or even jog with me. If you want to hit the weights with me in the garage that is cool too. In a nutshell, I enjoy working out, reading, hanging out with my kids, Saturday afternoons at Harkins and Buffalo Wild Wings, and cheering on the Patriots on Sundays during football season. I also enjoy cooking, hanging out with my close friends and grilling, having a couple of brews and attending the occasional concert. One of these days I will catch Garth Brooks in Vegas...that sounds like a hell of a time.
