We never know what we are going to get out life. Perhaps that is what our greatest challenge is. Spontaneity is what gives living its spunk!
To begin, I live my daily life as a student. I am a recent graduate in Anthropology and Classics. Yes, I was that guy who wanted to become Indiana Jones! Come on, who wanted to be that guy? Living a life full of adventure and battling villains to preserve our history... That would be fun. On the weekend, to escape my school stress, I was a soccer official. I have traveled outside of my home state just to officiate at some tournaments - California and New Mexico, to name a few. For me, being an official gave me a challenge in keeping the spirit of the game alive.
I guess that what draws me here. As an official, I expect my matches to be fun and exhilarating. The same thing should apply for my date. If I'm having fun, then I know my dat is too. If I'm bored, then she probably is too. Let's face it, no one likes a boring date.
This brings me back to my first point: "Life is like a box of chocolates.". So let's enjoy our life even if we don't like the type of chocolate that we may have picked out.
