I truly feel that having a family is the base for everything else; as long as you have that one covered, everything else will work out. There are a ton of girls at my college and I've met some great people, but finding someone who is serious about dating is a little difficult. It seems that most girls my age and who are in college are enjoying their youth and aren't looking to be tied down. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy meeting lots of women and going out but what I truly want is a monogamous and meaningful relationship. The party scene at my school was a novelty at first but has now become more of a nuisance. After a while, you just feel like you're living the same night over and over again.
The idea of meeting someone and maintaining a healthy and romantic relationship is really appealing to me and I feel more enticed now then ever to go out and find it. I have a deep and inherent respect for women and nothing makes me happier then spending time with a girl who I am attracted to both cognitively and physically. I am definitely guilty of being an old fashioned romantic...and proud of it.
I suppose my "perfect" girl would be someone who is far from perfect but perfect for me (and vice-versa of course). I tend to spend a lot of time up in my head and I really enjoy long and deep talks; so someone who isn't afraid to chat would be a positive.
