Date men and women from United States. I am a warm, intellegent, hard-working and attractive woman, looking for similar qualities in a man. Although I am carrying a few extra pounds, I am very proportionate, strong, healthy and energetic. I am a better listener than talker as long as you have something other than sports to talk about. Once a conversation is begun, I can hold up my end of it on a variety of topics. I am not a damsel in distress that needs rescueing, nor do I wish to be anyone's surrogate mother. If you fall somewhere in between and are able to form a relationship based on different but equal partnership, GREAT! A good sense of humor, the ability to laugh at yourself as well as life in general, is a must. I have grown kids and a couple of grandkids as well as an 89 yo mother that I help take care of. You must be sensitive and sensible in regards to familial responsibilities. I still work part-time as a dessert baker in a local restaurant. I have had dogs and cats in the past and loved them all but don't have any pets now. I can't do a lot of the more physical activities right now as I am in the middle of knee replacement surgery, but when that is all done watch out world, here I come! Nuf said!

I like things like going for walks at the ocean, the mountains, and actually anywhere in the outdoors ( especially with that special someone). An occasional trip to the zoo, museum, concert, automotive or motor craft event, amusement park, nightclub for dancing, and the movies; where I like action, adventure, nature, westerns, and my favorite comedies including classic cartoons( not allowed to see growing up). I've traveled in all the lower forty eight states, as a truck driver, and would love to take the time to visit some state and national parks, historical sites, and explore this great big beautiful country of ours. I'm enquisitive and I'd love to see and learn about as much as possible and I have a relentless pursuit of knowledge. I love documentaries about any and everything so that I can expand my understanding of life which is never ending. I am a loving, kind, and caring person that get my greatest pleasure out of helping other people or at least making them feel better. I have a positive, upbeat, optimistic attitude that sees the best in people and situations. I have a humorous happy outlook on life and love to laugh and have fun. I am lovable, huggable, kissable, cuddly, and so very humble, ha ha. I'm told that I am a funny character and some say just downright laughable. My favorite flower is the "Rose" I admire it for its beauty and its adaptability.
The Missing Part:
My life is good but, I am missing the other part of my life. My Best friend and lover. The man who will hold my hand when were out for a walk, who’s arms will hold me tight when I need a hug, cuddle with me when were just watching a movie or a sunset at the beach. The man that would never forget to kiss me goodnight! The man that I could love not for what he is, “But for what I am when I am with him.” I am willing and capable of reciprocating the same love, friendship and more for the right man.
The quite side of me enjoys; walks on the beach at sunset, listening to the rain, laying by the fire and listening to a Neil Diamond CD, Sunday morning breakfast reading the paper in my PJРІР‚в„ўs and a camp fires at the ocean. I am a very good cook and enjoy it but not every day; I also like a good stage play or live performance, dancing, dining out, reading a good book, and going to the movies.
My bottom line is
“Quality not Quantity “Friends first then love will follow. I do not look in a man’s wallet first (I assume him like me, he has enough there to supply life’s basic needs). I look into his eyes first, our eyes tell the story of our soul. I do believe there is the possibility of “Magic “but it takes two honest, committed and caring” people to make it happen.
