Date men and women from United States / Arizona / Oro Valley, 66 year old

Date a man from Arizona, United States. I value honesty and look for that in my friends. I figure you have to be honest here, both in writing and pictures. If you're not honest and you make a connectiont, the truth will have to be addressed. I tend to have a number of long time friends in several areas of the country. These are people I have met in college and while working both in the US and internationally. I believe we are responsible for most things in our lives. Especially finances. I enjoy my 2 children, 3 grandchildren and 2 dogs, not neccesarily in that order.. I have traveled to 48 states on my motorcycles. People have asked what I found most intersting. I have to say there is no one thing. It is the vast variety of scenery and friendly people in the U.S.A. that did impress me. I haven't been riding the last few years I have gravitated to traveling by car Just sold the RV. I had to travel by air when working. Now the airports are such a hassle and I am usually not in a hurry, so I prefer traveling by car. Traveling, exploring back roads, meeting people and observing wildlife make up a big part of my entertainment.
I haven't danced in several years, but did a lot of jumping to music in college. At the time we called it dancing. I would like to get started again but I'll need an understanding partner. I am not sure how to assess my looks. I am concious of my appearence and try to dress and look appropriate for whatever occasion. It does seem that a the majority of my occasions require denim.
I believe that sharing with a partner makes everything more enjoyable and memorable. If you have no one to talk with about enjoyable experiences, the experience can be extremely fleeting. Even grocery shopping is more fun if you are watching for some item to make someone smile. I am looking for a friend with whom I can share experiences. The main goal is to have fun experiences and enrich our lives by doing so. If that should lead to something more long term, that woild be a big plus.

Meet someone special from Arizona, United States. I am grateful for the gifts life has bestowed upon me. Many of these gifts came disguised as challenges and adversity and sometimes I was unable to recognize them at first. If there were no bumps in the road it wouldn't be much fun to race down it.
My 3 grandsons are a joy to be around and they think that their Grandpa is very cool. I finally achieved the lofty position of being "cool".
Some people look at life and ask why. I look at life and say damn that's funny. I do not take myself seriously for I am the only one who really knows how goofy I really am.
I am looking for someone who looks at themselves and life in a similar way. If you can laugh at yourself and the craziness of all of those around you, let's talk.

Date a soulmate from Arizona, United States. Married once, divorced many years ago, and have no children. I live on the Northwest side of Tucson with my dog Shiloh (a Kerry Blue Terrier). I am an avid golfer and hike for exercise. I have season tickets for numerous U of A sports, love rock music (Yes, REM, Sarah MacLachlan, etc.) and go to 8 - 12 live concerts a year. My only couch potato mode is movie watching. I would much rather rent a movie and watch it with someone I really care about than go to a multiplex and listen to someone else's conversations. I'm not really looking for a friendship or a casual relationship (I have plenty of friends.) I would like to find someone who is willing to be both physically and emotionally intimate and is willing to do the communicating that is necessary to have a successful relationship. My idea of a perfect evening is a candlelight dinner with someone I really care about. So tell me more about you. Sense of humor, likes music (rap and country are not music), open, honest, intense, U Of A sports fan desirable, good communicator, monogamous, looking for a long term relationship

Meet people from Arizona, United States. Recently retired and new to Arizona. I like to ride mybycycle, and I am presently doing work on my home to make it mine. I grew up in Iowa and I am a Iowa Hawkeye fan and well as a St. Louis Cardinal fan. Looking for someone to enjoy life with.

Date a man from Oro Valley, United States. Hi! This is the straight scoop about me.
I'm a retired Air Traffic Controller and software specialist who managed to hang in with a career in the Federal Aviation Administration for almost 37 years. Good for me--I get points for that!
U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam veteran too. Any points for that? I have many, but you will have to decide if that counts for you.
I bailed out of the great Pacific Northwest (the weather really IS abysmal) after my son graduated from college. Tucson was my destination, and I truly do love it here. I have a beautiful house up near the Pinal County line... private, secluded (almost), pool and all.
I am good with plants. Coming from Puget Sound, where everything grows (all you have to do is look at it!), I made the usual immigrant mistakes. Lesson learned: If it doesn't grow here already, forget about it. Now, I am into mild horticultural neglect. Dear plant: If you grow for me, then well done. If not, so long.
Then tropicals are doing well in the house--they like winter indoor temperatures. The Bird of Paradise is blooming! The Adenium is slowly going dormant as usual, and the 7' Euphorbia (really, it is 7 feet tall!) is getting bigger.
So what's up with the "Back out here. Still looking!" headline? I'll be straight with you... I came down here with a woman I really thought could be the big one. Sadly, it didn't turn out that way. After too much craziness, and over-the-top drama, the relationship collapsed. She left, at my invitation, in late January, 2008--almost three years ago. Good. Asking her to leave was the right thing to do.
My son is winding up his PhD on the east coast; his wife is on the research staff at a major university on the west coast. I know, they're far away from each other, but they're making it work.
So here I am. Out here. Still looking.
My whole profile will give you a good idea about what's going on with me. I think I have touched the high spots.
As for you? My ideal match? Well, match me!
Of course, I would certainly like the hot and sexy profile--you know--skinny body, big boobs, tight butt, ya da, ya da. But c'mon, we're in our 60s, or, for you, close to it (sorry, but true if you have read this far). That fantasy is not all that practical, is it? Or is it? ;))
So hey, be really smart, educated, switched on, and aware of our world. Be a career person embarking on the next phase of your life. Maybe we can share that?
C'mon, let's go do stuff! I have a "Go Bag" in the closet. If I want to go anywhere (at least in this hemisphere), all I have to do is grab it, hop in the truck, and go. You can toss your stuff in there too. Come on along, lady. Let's get started.
