My friends are from all over the US. I was raised in Iowa and graduated from U of Iowa in Iowa City. My first job was as a missonary in Richmond, Va. Then back to college getting Masters in Public Policy from U of Chicago! They wanted me and gave me free tuition for the program. Then a local job in Mason City, IA and 2 years later, DC open it's doors for me and I worked on Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) explaining it to the people running it throughout the US.
Then a bomb hit me in 1991 and I found out I have Multiple Scerlosis. It is a disease that slowly takes away your knowledge from school and your ability to move. BUT it does NOT take away your ablity to laugh and love!!
So, you may get to see me in my mini Jag (ie my 3 wheel scotter) that helps me walk around long distances. Tho I can go using a cane or walker for shorter trips. While my ability to dance, which I once was extremely good at, is starting to fade, I still move to any music with a beat, tho the moves are mostly me sitting down!
So, you get to understand a person who is somewhat disabled, yet so perfect in many ways!
