I am French/Norvegian descent, 5f.5, atheltic and toned. Except for 3 photos ( the black and white one ) most of my pictures are a few months old and a few other photos were taken the last two years. Actually, I have been told that I look better then some of my photos. I worked out HARD 3 to 4 times per week to keep my bod in shape.I love the outoors, am baggage free,
independent,down to earth ( litterally... I clean my stalls daily for my 2 horses ). i have been told that I may look " high maintenance " but I have been 'maintening' myself for over 16 years !! I love to explore the wilderness, great outdoors, including camping yes... camping in rural areas. I enjoy nature and spend quite a bit of time on mty ranch. My friends an d neighbors call me a ' workaholic ' and a MULTI - DIMENTIONAL woman. and ' a study in contrast ' .I love my animals, ( 3 dogs, 2 horses ) got a new pup named " SASSY" Let's see.. I also trim trees, carry bales of hay but THEN................ a miracle happens ! Please, no smokers, angry Men, Cheapos who only DO coffee shops ( I never drink coffee... yuck ! ) I prefer someone like myself, who is happy, loves life and B.S free..! If MEN understood ' how far' a bouquet of flowers, a romantic dinner ( without expectations ) would do for them, it would be a huge plus. Some men ( even if they can well afford it ) will not take you out to dinner a second or third time, unless some physical action is in the agenda. Don't get me wrong, I am a 'very healthy' woman......but I am in for the long run ,not fo a short roll in the hay ! I expect my Man to be romantic, likes to hold hands, kiss me often ( even in public places ) someone who is healthy, love the physical aspect of love, someone who works out and I prefer a man to is conscious about nutrition except for occasional fun dinners. Secondly, and this is probably very important too, all of my parts are my parts, and none of my parts have been surgically altered. I try to stay in shape, but I'm not a Barbie doll by any means. If that is what you are looking for, I'm not the one for you. I also don't spend a ton of money on upkeep, such as weekly manicures/pedicures, etc. I prefer to be more natural, I guess.
So, what else? Well, for many years I've lived with a personal mission, or motto, "It's all about Communication, Community and Continuing Education." I lead my team at work with this at the basis of everything I do, really. I work hard, but I also play hard......and I'm always looking and learning. Another one of my favorite sayings is, "You have to look at the world twice to see all there is to see." I truly believe this! I think the scientist in me (biology major) helped me learn to be always looking, always questioning....and frequently I will see things no one else sees.
Many of my interests include physical activity. Some days I have been known to take my dog on so many walks I lose count..... Honestly, I stay busy, physical and don't watch much TV. I adore long walks, and also love to swim, boat, ski, hike the mountain trails, work out with weights and do yoga. I love to travel, even if its just a long Sunday drive. Frequently I fly to either NYC or MSP to visit either of my daughters - no grandkids yet, but one of them is married and close to starting a family.
I'm a Christian, and the man I share my life with must be a believer, too. I don't go to church every Sunday, but my faith is important to me.
I also must admit to also being a diehard romantic. I love movies like Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Moonstruck, The Way We Were, and recently, The Hunger Games. Yes, The Hunger Games. Read the first book, have seen the movie twice. There is romance involved, believe it or not. I love to watch people communicate, develop a rapport, and share experiences. I love to do this myself, and movies that capture the essence of others and their relationships fascinate me. I also love music and how it often captures the essense of arelationships....ALL kinds of music, even movie soundtracks - ever fall asleep to Out of Africa? It's beautiful.....
One more important thing - humor is the best medicine, truly. I love humor. I have a huge sense of humor, and love to laugh and point out the absurdities in life when the time is right. Sometimes finding the solution means you have to laugh at what has just passed. Laughter releases endorphins and expands the soul. I was raised in a family that did a lot of laughing, a lot of expressing, period, but laughing was a huge part of that.
