I'm a Canadian transplant by way of Ireland and the east coast. I really enjoy traveling, and tend to go to Ireland once a year to see family and visit. I love my job, I work in the development/construction industry and would like to expand my social circle beyond that specific characteristic group (not that there is anything wrong with gruff old guys who like to yell, some of them are my closest friends).
I would describe myself as a strong, loyal, good-hearted and a great listener. I am certainly reserved with people I first meet, but as I get to know someone I become far more outgoing.
I really enjoy hiking and working out, I like to fiddle around the house and in the garage with small projects. I can't say I finish all of them, but it is nice to have things in progress. I prefer comedies or action/suspense for entertainment, but I don't mind anything else. I have a varied taste in music; Tom Waits, Pink Floyd, Adele, The Mars Volta, Tom Petty, Christina Perri, Tom Morello, Johnny Cash, etc...
