I grew up in the Midwest, lived in Chicago most of my life, did a short stint in Western MN, till the market died, Phoenix is now my home, and I must say should have moved here sooner. I am basically no maintenance required, I clean, an accomplished cook (Polish-Italian-American cuisines), and laundry, so I can pretty much take care of myself. I enjoy all types of movies and music. Love to laugh, and make people laugh, since it is good for the soul. My friends would call me humorous, with a touch of serious, and generous enough to give someone the shirt off my back if they were in need. Family and friends is very important to me along with my two sons who are 17 and 19.
The inner side of me is very romantic and passionate, I like surprising my other half with candle lit dinners, chocolates, flowers, and even breakfast in bed, going to a movie on a whim, taking a long walk, or just cuddling on the couch watching a good movie.
I will not post a picture with my profile. Why? I believe that would be like judging a book by its cover, or criticizing the chef before trying the cuisine. And I am not very photogenic. I was raised in Ohio and moved to Phoenix in 1981. I have a fantastic daughter who is a junior at U of A. I like to travel as much as anyone. I have been to Florida (Jan), Maui (March) and Sedona (April) so far this year. Later in the year I have weddings to go to in Pebble Beach and St Croix. And I'm sure I will sneak another trip or two in. So if you like vacations or long weekends away we have that in common.
I consider myself to be a generous person. One of the things I like to do is pick up the tab for people. It is the pay it forward mentality and a nice way to put a smile on someone's face.
I have been told that I am fun to be with. I have also been told I have a certain swagger about myself. I enjoy working out. I believe when you are fit you perform so much better in all aspects of life.
