I am originally from New York and still have my New York personna of course but have considered myself an Arizonan since developing allergies about 7 years ago. I am a baseball fan and more specifically a lifetime Mets fan. I like to hike in the brutal heat when there are about 3 cars at Piestewa Peak. That makes me a masochist. A comment on "internet dating": I never dated anyone I met in the supermarket or in church (maybe because I don't go to either one very often), and the only time I've met someone in a bar was when I was introduced. The reality is that many of my friends are married with children now, which changes the dating dynamic, and I don't really have the time or inclination to go on blind dates, no matter how enthusiastic the endorsement may be. I'm not on this site for serial dating, and I'm not here to be anyone's sugar daddy (and, I'm reluctant to admit, I'm not sure I'd be the best father to a child other than my own, if that's in my future). With that said, my somewhat limited experience on this site has been positive overall, having met some delightful people I might not have encountered otherwise. So now I've returned to test fate.
