Date people from United States. I'm originally from New Orleans and I've only been in Arizona a few months but love it here. Took a new job with a great company as a software engineer.
I'm a fun, free, spirited and easygoing kind of fellow....a by-product of growing up in the Big Easy. Along the way I have picked up a friendly outgoing personality, an appreciation of fine dining (redfish at K'Pauls is my all time favorite) and great music. I am finally learning to play jazz through trumpet. Want to learn to play a bit of ole Satch'mo, Miles Davis...and Tijuana Brass music is my thing since a kid for some reason. My dream one day is to feel the adrenalin rush of playing "A Taste of Honey" and other Herb Alpert hits in a community band in front of a live audience...or who knows, if I get good enough form a band and resurrect those great 60's classics.
I’m happy with the simple life. I go to work...and enjoy doing my best making the skies safer. When I come home, I’ll build r/c airplanes and anticipate that first flight, practice the trumpet, relax with a good sci-fi or computer book, or watch a good movie. My taste in movies ranges wildly...from science fiction (atfs are Aliens, Contact, Battlestar Galactic) to quirky comedies (perfect example is Sideways...of which I still have a pending road trip to the wine country and the Hitching Post to recreate their trip...but just for the scenery...not for their antics!). On weekends I try to stay active...finding new hiking spots, flying (the real deal and the toys), playing a leisurely round of golf while gazing at the amazing landscapes, traveling to fun nearby destinations, or just sleeping late lying around my new home here (hey that's not active!).
I’m looking for someone that is easy going with a sense of humor. Laughter is a stress reliever for me…so someone I can giggle with over everyday silly things would be great. Having things in common also nurtures a relationship. I’d enjoy meeting someone who likes outdoor activities, traveling, mild adventures, listening to and/or playing music, or “techie” stuff like computers, the latest gadgets, sci-fi movies…etc. I can be romantic and affectionate at times, so someone who appreciates a bit of doting every now and then and responds to that is desirable. I'm sort of traditional in that I enjoy giving flowers or fine chocolates after a tough day, opening doors...and I may even croon you with a mellow trumpet version of "My Funny Valentine" or similar. I'll keep the latter to a minimum though...at least until I stop summoning the neighborhood dogs and wild coyotes..haha.

I'm not so sure that it even works but I guess if you don't try new things you can't learn new things. I work as an electrician but only because it pays the bills as much as I love to do things with my hands I would much rather be doing something else which I have started to do. I believe that if you are passionate about something then you should go for it and not let anything stop you from achieving your goals.
I really enjoy being outdoors specially anywhere there is water, I love to cook and to explore new places and try new restaurants but its always better doing those things with someone special. I'm not much of a drinker so I'm not so much into the bar scene been there done that.
What I'm looking for is someone who enjoys being outdoors but also likes the quiet time at home as well, someone who also believes in constant personal growth. Always being open to learn new things is very important to me and my own personal development and I believe that any relationship should be open to growth and development.

I would like to meet someone who isn't obsessed with her looks and is comfortable without wearing makeup. The natural look is really hot!!! However, I do believe in regular exercise.
