I live a low key and quiet life with most of my time involving the care of my dogs, my house and my friends. I like things neat and organized in my life, but with two dogs, this is often a big challenge. However, I make sure friends and loved ones are my first priority. In my free time, I really enjoy reading just about anything, board and card games, playing Wii games, thrift shopping on the weekends, going out to eat, movies, live theater, going out for coffee or ice cream, and good BBQРІР‚в„ўs. Although I am not a sports fanatic, I love to play volleyball, despite not playing it often.
As you can see in my pictures, my physique is on the "fluffy side", but I am proportionate. By that, I mean I have curves in the right places, but they are just a bit, um, amplified. Last year, I made it my focus to try and live more healthily, but not fanatically so. As a result, I had lost about 25 pounds last year, and am eager to further my success. Even so, I am secure in my own body, and my current weight. So, I promise to never ask "Do I look fat in this?" *grin*
I’m not looking for “Mr. Perfect”. To be honest, I’d much rather have “Mr. Real” with his own flaws and foibles that make him who he is- things to laugh and love and appreciate together. I’d love to meet someone who is kind, honest, affectionate and willing to accept me and my life as they are now. It would be nice to have someone to go out to a nice restaurant now and again, to hold hands while walking about, to cuddle with while watching movies and to have lazy Sunday mornings around the house. My career is important to me, but I make every effort not to spend more time working than is absolutely necessary. There should be more to life - work to live, not live to work - right?
In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, hiking, biking and going to the driving range to hit a few balls. I enjoy trying new things and traveling to places I've never been before. I'm equally comfortable dressed up in heels or wearing jeans with my hair in a ponytail. I do actually enjoy watching some sports (football, baseball and hockey), but I'd prefer to see a game live rather than on tv. I like almost every type of music and a wide variety of musicians/bands. I can always find something to listen to that will fit my mood.
I enjoy good food and wine and I like to cook. I'm always trying new recipes and I love re-creating an great dish I've had in a restaurant at home. Chopping vegetables is very therapeutic!
Family is extremely important to me. I have a wonderful family that I am very close to, even though they live on the other side of the country. I also have an amazing 7 year old daughter that is my world. I'm lucky enough to have her with me 50% of the time and we enjoy every minute together. When my daughter is not with me, I enjoy getting together with friends for happy hour, entertaining, fitting in some physical activity and the occasional movie.

Love it here, but CO will always be "home". I enjoy spending time with friends/family. While my family is out of state, we are extremely close and I make at least a couple trips back to CO every year to visit. I am probably most comfortable in jeans, a t-shirt and pair of flip flops, but I "clean up well" and can manage a dress and pair of heels just fine. I'm generally up for trying anything at least once. To me it's much more about the company - the WHO you're with - than the where or what you're doing. I am kind of a hopeless romantic, but I'm also realistic that relationships are about balance. A good relationship has a balance of time spent together and apart. Communication and honesty are key.
Life is good, but I'd like to find someone to share the rest of the adventure with - just haven't met the right person yet.
