So... I guess... I LOVE introducing people to that new song or movie they've never heard or seen. LOVE comfortable silence. LOVE to put in some time and effort, finish my job, sit back, and get that feeling of accomplishment. And then move on to the next thing. I have some junk and stuff that I really to stick to. I have a 'life list' of stuff to do. Most folks would laugh at it. Some might cry. But I'm looking for someone who is down for getting it done.
DISLIKE it when people knowingly talk over my head about crap I don't care about. DISLIKE people with nothing to contribute but their views and opinions. DISLIKE people who are too critical of others. Like, you know, that's you're opinion, man.
I'M NOT: I'm not the type to screw up, and blow it off or justify it with with an "I'm sowwyy". I don't cheat and lie. I don't back myself into corners with lies. I'm not confrontational (my Scandinavian heritage, I suppose) - unless I'm put in some exceedingly absurd situation, where I'm exceedingly-absurdly in the right. I don't dodge hard phone calls. I'm really not a "hey how's it going" hang-out do-nothing kind of guy. You'll rarely find me sipping drinks by a pool. We're not going to go aimlessly hang out at the mall.
I AM: I'm punctual. I like to take my shopping cart back to the front or the little 'cart port'. I don't make excuses for myself. I'd rather work for an extra hour rather than have a dissatisfied customer. I really do work hard - five-seven days a week - the kind of guy that works hard in order to afford my daily luxuries. And I do love my luxuries and "things" - but enjoy them on some intellectual level (or else they'd be worthless). I prevent problems before they become problems. I really do open up, tell the truth, and what's up and what needs to be said. I am a control freak, but not bossy. I will step in and do the job if someone is doing it wrong. I'll put myself in front of a freight train to make it stops in time. I like my "things", but wouldn't call myself a good little consumer. I'm down for staying home sometimes. There's always good places to travel and people to hang out with and cool stuff to buy and spend money and all of that stuff. But once I'm done, it's always back to accomplishing some other task.
WHAT MY REAL GOAL IS: I'm interested in raising a well-bred, strong family, with traditional values. And I'm on fire to do it just right. Health, wealth, intelligence - all that good stuff. I dislike stupid mouthbreathers and feel the need to breed and outnumber them. I applaud real men who can raise a family and stay together. Men who satisfy. Men who don't let ego cause problems. When I die in fifty years, I want those around me to be temporarirly devistated, followed by an uplifting epiphany that I live on through passed-down knowledge. I have no intentions of being immediately forgotten nor casually missed. Conscious, Earthly existence no joke.
With all this, I am devoted, clean, generally sinless and thus stressless. I'm a guy lookin' for an enjoyable, beautiful counterpart (to my imperfect self) to throw my arm around. Someone to AMAZE and continuously IMPRESS and SWEEP OFF HER FEET whenever possible. I dig that stuff. Someone to love, enjoy success, come home to, go out on the weekends, eat, drink, shop, take trips, laugh, smile, and all of that fluffy stuff. But I still like to keep that stuff as a little 'side reward', so to not spoil myself. Someone that really LOVES being around me, too (I mean, who WOULDN'T, yes yes?).
So follow up and we'll go out and smash some stuff. I'll bully and buy off security and we'll get backstage with the band. Let's find a cure for cancer first thing in the morning and then go out for some lunch. Let's get this zombie apocalypse under control and repopulate the world.
