I love traveling (have traveled to different countries and lived in a few), reading, listening to music (Christian, praise & worship, country, jazz, pop/top 40, soft rock, reggae, classical, bandstand era, too),dancing, bowling, board games/ cards, and doing crafts, especially photo scrap-booking. I am praying that God will bring me someone who is honest, has integrity, a sense of humor, loves music and can dance (both country and west coast swing, cha cha and others-looking for a lifelong dance partner), is affectionate (I love physical touch, hugs, and kisses & love to give them too), loves the Lord and puts God first and us second; prays together, someone who is committed to marriage, home, and values family (I am very close to my family even though they live out of state). I value education; therefore, having a partner who is literate and intelligent is important to me. I have a diverse cultural background. Because of my background, I am comfortable in the presence of "proper" surroundings where I can dress up and wear heels, down to super casual. Basically, I am a down to earth type of person, and love my comfy, casual,lounge-wear. During my 23 yr marriage, I was able to be a stay-at-home mom and raise my two children. I became a Christian after I was married and despite the fact that the believer should draw the unbeliever to Christ, my faith had the opposite effect and we grew apart due to being unequally yoked. Now I am divorced, I am in nursing school (after lots of schooling) and my goal is to become a nurse! I know that God has a purpose and a plan for each one of us. God is so good and I love the journey that he has been giving me to take. I have learned so much by being stretched in many new ways, all the while trusting Him in the process. It is always scary in the moment but rewarding in the long run knowing He is faithful in what He wants me to experience and learn. He has provided relationships for me since my marriage that have blessed me in very unique ways (stories for another time) and brought me lots of happiness and have created more good qualities in me. I do believe that God does provide the people in our lives with whom He wants us to have relationships and I am certain, in His timing, He will do that once again with the one I am supposed to be with marriage wise, that is if He wants that for me!
