In my own word... which is quick and to the point. I am a native to Arizona. I have two girls that are 20 and 15 yrs old. I have been divorced for( I think 4 yrs or so :-). My oldest lives in Cal. and my youngest lives with me.. She plays club soccer so you willl always find me on the sidelines. I don't go out much because I'm am pretty busy with soccer and school. When I do get a chance to go out I enjoy movies, dinners, socializing with friends or staying home watching TV and drinking a beer or two. My family lives here and I am the oldest of four. When we all get a chance to hang out it involves eating and social drinking as any family. I'm looking for someone who is real and when I mean real. They know what honesty, trustyworthy, empathic, sympathetic and patience mean. I am a pretty laid back person but sometimes the spur of the moment can get me excited as well. I have a military background but I am not a military brat just did my part in the Navy Reserves for 8 yrs. Being in the reserves gave me a nice opportunity to see some of the world but I enjoy San Diego quite much. I am in the medical world and enjoy this field very much. I am 5’ 9”, and 38 years old (at least for another month), though feel younger now than I think I ever have been! I was legally an adult at 14 and was a warrior in many aspects for the first part of my life, so now I am all about enjoying what I have learned and being present in the moment. I am an open minded person and afford everyone the freedom to learn and make their own choices. I have made a lot of mistakes throughout my life and like to think that I have learned whatever lessons were available from them. I believe in doing no harm to others, or myself, and that it is from the simplest of things that the greatest moments arise. If I were to die tomorrow, everyone that means something to me would know exactly what they meant to me and how much I appreciated their presence in my world, because it is a great part of who I am to make sure I tell them all the time while I am here to do so. I don’t let an opportunity to touch someone in a positive way pass… I am the weird chick in the store that tells people things like their eyes look great, or that that color is wonderful for them, or even fixes a wayward tag in the back of a shirt (with permission, of course). I pay for the person behind me in the drive through at Starbuck’s (liquid crack!) and buy extra food for the guy holding the sign asking for it… I have a huge heart and am not ashamed of that. I don’t care anymore if people mistake kindness for weakness since I have been able to live a life that shows that not to be my truth...
I find that when people are able to recognize who they are and live according to that, it is a beautiful thing. Why try to be someone/something you are not?! If one subscribes to the idea that there is someone out there for everyone, why would you rob yourself of that opportunity by deceiving yourself or someone else?!
I am ready to be a priority in someone's life, and let them know that they have that same honored place in my own...
