Life has taught me several very important things: 1. To whom much is given, much is required and expected. 2. To walk through life without someone to love becomes a lonely journey. 3. Make it a point to tell the ones you love that "you love them" every day. 4. It does not matter that you have the most of things only that you do the most with the things you have. 5. Love your children as hard as possible when they are young because the love they give back is beyond question. 6. And lastly, greet every new person you meet as if they are angels because I believe they live amongst us and are sent by GOD to guide, protect, and test our Christianity.
I truly believe that if I can fix me, the remainder becomes easy when it comes to me receiving a mate. I am not responsible for the way you treat me, (although I don't have to accept it if it is in a negative manner), I am only responsible for the way I treat you.
48 years I have been on this earth, and I have learned life is not that complicated, we make it that way. I just want to live and make the remaining time I have left better than those years that are behind me. THE SIMPLE BUT TRUE FACT OF LIFE IS THAT YOU BECOME LIKE THOSE WITH WHOM YOU CLOSELY ASSOCIATE; FOR THE GOOD AND THE BAD.
THE LESS YOU ASSOCIATE WITH SOME PEOPLE, THE MORE YOUR LIFE WILL IMPROVE. ANY TIME YOU TOLERATE MEDIOCRITY IN OTHERS, IT INCREASES YOUR MEDIOCRITY. AN ATTRIBUTE IN SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE IS THEIR IMPATIENCE WITH NEGATIVE THINKING AND NEGATIVE ACTING PEOPLE. AS YOU GROW, YOUR ASSOCIATES WILL CHANGE. SOME OF YOUR FRIENDS WILL NOT WANT YOU TO GO ON. THEY WILL WANT YOU TO STAY WHERE YOU ARE. FRIENDS THAT DON'T HELP YOU CLIMB WILL WANT YOU TO CRAWL. YOUR FRIENDS WILL STRETCH YOUR VISION OR CHOKE YOUR DREAM. THOSE THAT DON'T INCREASE YOU WILL EVENTUALLY DECREASE YOU.
CONSIDER THIS:
1. NEVER RECEIVE COUNSEL FROM UNPRODUCTIVE PEOPLE.
2. NEVER DISCUSS YOUR PROBLEMS WITH SOMEONE INCAPABLE OF CONTRIBUTING TO THE SOLUTION, BECAUSE THOSE WHO NEVER SUCCEED THEMSELVES ARE ALWAYS FIRST TO TELL YOU HOW. 3. DON'T FOLLOW ANYONE WHO'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE. WITH SOME PEOPLE YOU SPEND AN EVENING; WITH OTHERS YOU INVEST IT.
