gadgets like the inernet and cell phones. Looking for someone who knows what I am talking about. Okay.
I am more of a tradionalist than modernist I guess you could say.
Can be good listener because I dont say a lot sometimes.
But I am good conversationalist with the right person although.
As far as my Lady, I guess you could say I am looking for a
simple sophisticated metro country girl. Does that make sense?
Okay maybe it does ....or maybe not
I am looking my my Harley Mama also.
Experience not required.
Meet someone special from Alabama, United States. I like to think of myself as a multifaceted person. I might be at a play tonight and clearing brush tomorrow. I'm at ease at a football game (Roll Tide!) or a symphony. I live alone and my favorite times are the times I spend with my 19 year-old daughter. I have a rewarding career as a Hospice administrator which allows me to provide help to others. I love travel, the outdoors (is anything more beautiful than the mountains in Spring?), music...especially music...(rock, both classic and current; classical; jazz; Latin; you name it including some odd passions like Randy Newman, Elvis Costello, and Warren Zevon...I find their quirkiness and irony extremely appealing), working in the yard, doing home improvement, cooking, and reading. I think of myself as fairly well-read (Richard Ford is a favorite and I am a lover of great Southern fiction like Carson McCullers, Flannery O'Conner, Faulkner, et. al.) and I grant that I can be a bit opinionated at times. I read a good bit of historical non-fiction (um...is that redundant?) also. I am a huge lover of the movies. From the great old black and whites, through today's best, to guilty pleasures ("Plan Nine From Outer Space" still cracks me up!)
My politics are "liberal and patriotic" and if that is a problem for you we may not be a match. (You don't have to agree with me...just be tolerent of me. I am very tolerent of other beliefs...well, within reason :-) ).
I'm looking for someone who is very affectionate, likes to go, is intellegent, has a sharp sense of humor, and is spiritual (but doesn't have to be highly religious, though that is fine). Someone who would enjoy a hike in the afternoon and an evening curled up on the couch one day and a museum or even Six Flags the next (I'm a roller coaster freak) followed by a night at the Shakespere Festival. I'm fairly young at heart and looking for someone who is also. I'm looking for someone fun who I can also have an intelligent conversation about the world with.
