Date a woman from United States. I'm a Southern belle to the core, but have lived all over the country since I'm the daughter of a 30 year Navy veteran. Went to high school and college in Florida, but have been in North AL for 21 years and love it here.
I am an accomplished professional, but I definitely don't live to work. I work to live, and try to enjoy life to the fullest. I've learned in recent years how short life is, and we should never take anything for granted...so I'm very grateful for my family, my animals, and my wonderful friends. I'm quick to smile, warm, and engaging. On the flip side, a sappy movie will make me cry in a heartbeat. ;)
I'm definitely a sports enthusiast, and most especially a college football fan. I enjoy working in my yard, maintaining a regular exercise routine, and spending time with special friends. I enjoy getting out, but am also content spending quiet time at home.
What is most important to me in a relationship is that it's rooted in friendship, between two people who genuinely have fun together. While I'm definitely a hopeless romantic and enjoy being treated like the lady that I am, I want to feel comfortable communicating whatever's on my mind.
Qualities that appeal to me in a man are a sense of humor, honesty, intelligence, and self-confidence. It's important that he's comfortable in his own skin, and be in touch with his emotions. For a strong bond of trust to develop, this is essential.
I don't feel a sense of urgency in this process, as I'm quite comfortable on my own...but if the right man contacts me and the sparks fly, I'm open to infinite possibilities. I'm not looking to rush into anything, but just to keep an open mind and see what happens. :)
