I am a simple country girl, but certainly no redneck. I am happy in jeans...or dress clothes. I love to go out...or just sit at home tangled up on the couch. I love to travel...and weekend getaways are the best. I prefer the mountains over the beach, but will gladly go either way. I love to cook...bake...grill. I work long hours, so my free time is precious to me...I just need someone to share it with.
I can be as southern as you please or as articulate as necessary. I prefer living in the more rural settings. I am passionate about the beauty of nature. I'm a very novice photographer. I love to capture nature, family & friends on film. I have 2 wonderful sons that are grown and out on their own & 2 very precious grandchildren. I've always been a very giving and loving person. That may be why i chose to be a nurse. I work long days(6 am-7:30 pm or later) on a cardiac unit in a local hospital. I generally work only during the week.
I believe that any relationship should start as a friendship and grow from there. Honesty & trust are paramount! I'm perfectly happy to sit around and talk...take time to get to know each other. I'm pretty down to earth...and I enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Music is my passion, I tend to sing along when a good song comes on the radio. (Just nudge me, I'll hush...hahaha)
I'm pretty quick witted...and I laugh easily. I think I laugh most often at myself! I've been told my smile can light up the room. (feel free to judge that one for yourself). I love to be with someone that can enjoy bantering back & forth.
I just hope to find a good, honest man whose company I can enjoy. One that can make me feel safe & secure. I guess I'm pretty old-fashioned and still believe in the traditional roles to a great degree. If I am lucky enough to find THE man for me, that's great. If not, maybe I can at least find a new friend along the way. I believe we all need someone to be a witness to our lives...someone else that shares the same memories. That way, when we are old & gray we can say...."Do you remember the time..." ... and someone will be there that can say...YES!
