I don't want to date within my profession but when you work 10 hours a day, there's not much opportunity. Most of my friends are married, and my unmarried friends too young. I don't want to do the bar scene! How ridiculous is that?!
What I learned by being married is that I like the serenity of when its right. And that I'll be more careful in making sure its right. I am in no hurry. I don't NEED to be married at all. This time I am taking my time.

While I'm successful in my career, I'm not sleek or slick--just really real. I'm not unattractive but hardly arm candy. I sweat when I work out, or work in the yard and I'm not afraid of dirt under my nails. But I clean up pretty darn good. I wear heels every day. I believe in karma---what you throw out there in the world is what you get back!. I am passionate about my job, my kids, my family. Finding someone successful within themselves is important to me. Full disclosure: the profile picture was taken for my profession about 5 years ago. Not air brushed...but I am older. I hate photos and this was my best foot forward. The other photo was about 3 years ago when I was first separated. Probably should have stayed gone then, but that's life. Live and learn. I will post something current as I settle into this "single" thing but wanted to be honest. A little more wrinkles....a little more gray hair but I earned every one of them!
