Date women from United States / Alabama / Lincoln, 62 year old

Date someone special from Lincoln, United States. Recently re-entered a single life after 33 years of marriage looking to socialize and find compatible gentlemen with similar values and interests. Haven't completed all the information requested because I am hesitating about this type of meeting. I grew uin San Francisco, very much a product of my generation. Attending parochial schooling, girl scouts and then UC Berkeley in the 60s.
I have a post graduate degree and have been self employed and self supporting my entire life. I'm financially secure and not looking to be supported or to support anyone. I don't need a Mr. fix it, I've managed to assemble just about everything you can think of including my 125 piece greenhouse from costco. I have traveled the world, technically butstill feel like I haven't seen anything. If I had the time and money I'd probably take off for parts unknown. I was a competivie swimmer at one time. I am certified as a scuba diver but never had a partner to share these activities. I have a new set of golf clubs and have been enjoying learning the skills it will take to play. I am transitionaing into retirment during 2012. I love classical and 60s music. Have a collection of hawaiian music from a time when taking hula lessons. I do have a range of reading styles. I always get hooked on reading about the places I will be visiting. Still read the Donna Leon series that take place in Venice. Have a huge collection on Vietnam since it was so pivital to my life. Recently finished "The gifts of Imperfection" - which I am and if you get to know me that will be obvious.
Now for what I'm looking for: someone who sees those imperfections as God's gifts to be shared for all peoples amusement and joy!Someone who can laugh at themself as well as with me, someone who would be crazy enough to learn to play like we did as kids and not think it stupid. Someone who won't throw a fit if the word tuxedo is part of a social invitation. If you dance and horseback ride or are willing to try either, then you may be my kind of guy. Send me a message. I like to linger over good coffee and good red wine. Generally Sunday mornings do find me praising God for the blessings I have received.

Meet a soulmate from Lincoln, United States. My values reflect that I was raised in both the South and Midwest. I have an adventurous spirit. I strive to be honest, flexible and easy going. I enjoy laughter and find value in the simple things in life. Although I am not always an active participant, I enjoy outdoor activities and can be supportive of your passions. Health and fitness are important to me, and I currently exercise daily.
I am looking for a friend to start with, a man who shares good values, enjoys life with an active lifestyle and sense of humor. A person who is fit, warm in heart and true in spirit is needed; and one who seeks a real and honest relationship that will develop over time.

Date a woman from Lincoln, United States. I am an independent, secure lady who tries to begin and end each day with a smile. I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new activities. I love to travel (recent Scandanavial Capitols cruise and OAT trip to the Dalmation Coast...........New Zealand and Australia in May) and would like to find someone who feels the same. I am looking to find a great friend and if that friendship evolves into a serious relationship........we will both be doubly blessed! I want someone who is comfortable on a beach sipping a drink and watching the sun set or driving to the mountains to sit by a fire and watch the snow fall. I think I have a good sense of humor and would like to find the same in my new "great friend". Would you rather laugh than pout, smile than frown and think of your cup as half full? Are you spontaneous? Do you like yourself and where you are in life? We have a lot in common! I think a relationship, be it a good friend or something more, begins with communication, sharing and lots of laughter. Let's communicate and maybe we will be lucky enough to want to pursue more. Let's chat!

Meet someone special from Alabama, United States. I am grateful to be alive. and so for my parents, who stressed the importance of education. I was lucky to have a great education, and go onto graduate school to study classical archaeology.
I am greatful for the love and time my husband and I had together. That was cut short after 2 years. Don had by-pass suegery one day. I did not see him again. That is a sorrow I will never forget.
I am gratefull for my childhood and growing up in the country. I was a free spirit and my parents encouraged to be so.
I have three sisters, me being number two. We had horses and rode them all the time.
My two younger sisters took their horses with them when they went to bording school in Arizona. At that time I was schooling at the University of Arizona. I studied anthropolgyand photography. I received my B.A. there.
After college I worked for a major brokerage firm in Tucson. I was there for 6 years--transferred to Sacramento where I hepled open a new branch office. I was the Operations Manager there. I was then transferred to the San Francicso office where I earned my brockerage license. I was a stockbroker there until I moved to Sacramento and got married.
