Meet single man from Alabama, United States. So, I'm walking alone down this trail when I'm suddenly confronted by an angry opossum. It actually charges at me, skids to a halt, hisses and then does a 180 and trots off. So, why do I bring this up? I have NO idea. I just have lots of weird stories to tell, and fortunately most of em have happy endings. Anyway, some stuff about me...people often tell me that I'm easy to talk with. And I guess that's because I'm genuinely concerned with others and try hard to really listen (especially, if you have four legs and horns) It's not in my nature to be self centered. I was raised in a great family who taught me to be respectful, and I have a circle of close friends who have taught me a lot about the nature of good relationships. Having lived in California as well as the South, I've found that I'm a pretty flexible person, and I've built confidence and become more well-rounded by expanding my comfort zone in all areas of life. I try to be the best person I can, and I strive to strengthen myself physically and spiritually every day. This all sounds pretty mature, but I also have a lot of kid in me and sometimes go looking for a good river rope swing. I spend a lot of time traveling, hiking and just generally enjoying the wilderness. I’m naturally curious, and I’ll try most anything, so my interests reach beyond untamed nature. I love wandering cities like San Francisco, and if I could make a pile of money I'd live in Paris. I appreciate normal guy stuff— Alabama football, vegging on the couch to watch a movie. Intelligent conversation over wine or a pint of Guinness is nice too. Or discussing the finer points of Blazing Saddles. I also have this rock and roll side to me. I love to be near the front of a concert crowd and I’m not bad on the dance floor. I read a lot—books, newspapers, magazines—and pay close attention to politics and the world around me. I moved to Huntsville for a job - same job, just difference location. I'm now 12 hours closer to family than the D.C./Baltimore area. And the cost of living difference is nice. I'm from Oklahoma originally, but no longer have any relatives living there. I've lived across the country, both coasts, and spent some time overseas. I like it here.

Physical attraction is important, but not everything; confidence, intelligence, and a great sense of humor are sexier than... well, I'm sure you know the type.
