To start things off I'm going to go a little sideways here and muster as much objectivity as I possibly can about myself: I believe I have a lot of noble traits but I have flaws too. I can be very bull headed if someone tries to bully or intimidate me. I'm pretty good at overlooking the little stuff but can not and will not tolerate the really big stuff like lies and deception, hatefulness and disrespect of others. That stuff really makes me hot headed. I admit to being at least a little bit superficial. I'm no stud but I am a decent looking guy and like everyone else, looks are something I consider. Wish I were more evolved.
I'm intelligent and creative. A bit of an introvert and maybe a wee bit shy though you wouldn't know it if you meet me. I admit to being on the sensitive side for a man, I have the full range of human emotions. Happy, sad, bored, excited, enthusiastic, etc. I make a conscious effort not to blame other people if I have a less than stellar day. Not saying I never slip up but it is a priority. I make a genuine effort to be considerate of other's feelings and patient if a friend is having a bad day. We all have a tired or cranky day sometimes, let's be honest here.
I'm addicted to cutting up with friends at work and home and have an off the wall, sometimes goofy sense of humor. I'll act like an absolute idiot to entertain kids. Crack myself up all the time. Sometimes other people get it, sometimes they don't :)
I'm payed pretty well to work on complex electronic systems and tend to tinker with sophisticated hobbies sometimes. I have my own interests outside of work and think everyone should. A passion, hobby or interest that you can pursue on your own or with other friends is a plus in my book.
I really enjoy sports and was into thrills growing up. I still enjoy sports cars and dirt bikes but I don't drive them like a maniac. Absolutely love a trip to the mountains to snowboard or to the beach to splash in the waves! I'm in good shape, 6'2" and 190 lbs. A little on the lanky side of the sprectrum but lean and athletic.
I have a son and we spend a lot of time together. I do my best to teach him character and how to be open minded and think for himself. Divorced for 8 yrs. and no drama with his mother.
My "perfect" match would be a tomboy, beautiful, intelligent, modest and with millions of dollars to spend on me :) Since I don't believe in a "perfect" anything I'll settle for meeting a decent looking woman in good shape who cares about others and has character. It'd be sweet if she has her priorities pretty well worked out and head screwed on straight. Someone who has matured a little since high school and isn't getting wasted in bars on a regular basis or doing recreational drugs or pills. Intelligence is very attractive and being outspoken and assertive is a turn on.
I'd like to meet someone who realizes they have flaws yet works to grow and to make their life better be it financially, emotionally or developing their talents.
