Date someone special from Alabama, United States. I don't really know what they want me to say here about myself. I am a little bit biased on that subject. I like to think of myself as a generally decent human being, though I am sure that there are people who will disagree. I started college down in Auburn (War Eagle), but decided I didn't like the idea of working behind a desk for the rest of my life. So I left and got a degree in Culinary Arts, and have been working ever since. I have been on this site for awhile and haven't really put anything into my profile. Been to busy trying to get used to my job, and it's incredibly hard to meet people when you work evenings, so I decided it was time to do an overhaul on the old profile here, and actually talk a little about myself.
I honestly don't know what I am looking for on this site, other than companionship, just that I haven't found it. I am extremely passionate about my job, you kind of have to be to work the odd hours. When first meeting people I always feel awkward and a little shy, this isn't from a lack of confidence on my part. I am always afraid I am going to offend somebody because I have been told that I am a bit of a smart mouth. I like to look at as a quirky personality picked up from years of working in kitchens. Honestly a little sarcasm is good for everybody. Some of my hobbies are collecting vinyl records and cookbooks, as well as trying to new beers or wines. I am a fairly social person at least when the weather is moderately warm, you won't find me out much come winter. One of my favorite things is a warm day with a breeze and plenty of sun so I can sit on my porch listening to music and relax.
Anyway if I have sparked any interest feel free to ask me anything you would like to know. I never really know what to write about myself and tend to ramble so I am not sure if I have said anything of importance about myself or not.

Date people from Alabama, United States. How can I begin to describe myself with such limited space? I am a very unique and complex individual with a great many quirks, talents, and abilities. I am bluntly honest (to a fault some have told me) but I am that way out of respect of truth rather than just to be a jerk. I do not lie for any reason and despise liars as one of my mortal enemies in life. I do not take life with any more seriousness than is necessary and have the wonderful ability to see things for their true value rather than the perceived value that the rest of the world sees. This makes my approach to many things quite different than most, but it keeps me humble and wise. I love to be an idiot and make people laugh, especially with my trademark sarcasm and wit. I love the fantasy genre, especially the works and world of J.R.R. Tolkien, and I truly believe that there is more to our world than we know and have plenty of reason to believe that legends and myths may be more than just old tales. Magic is real, we have just lost the ability to see it. In mind I am way beyond my years but at heart I am a kid and will always be and it is quite evident since I live with a passion for life that only kids have. I am an artist with both the pencil and the computer and frequently indulge in that talent. I have a real passion for music of almost all types (except for country and rap) and my opinion of what good music is is quite simple: if it moves me then its good. I am also a gamer and have been since I was 5 years old. Though not strictly adherent to it, I gravitate to and enjoy RPGs more than any other genre and it has been since I first played the original Final Fantasy on the NES back in the day.
As for my match, the first thing I am looking for is honesty and trust. Far too many people care only for themselves and will lie, cheat, and steal to get what they want. My match must be honest and trustworthy, willing to tell me the truth regardless of any situation. Also, I am a hopeless romantic and will show it to someone I am with. Someone who shares the trait or at least will appreciate that is a very welcome thing. Patience and understanding are a big thing with me. Social ideas of what things "should be" are ridiculous to me and I use my own heart and judgment instead. Someone who is understanding of that and maybe even of like mind would be fantastic.
