Right now to start with I'd like to find someone to go out with and have dinner. A beautiful woman sitting across from me who can hold and take part in a good conversation. Now that’s a date for me. I have done a lot of public speaking in the past. So I know how to talk. But I’ve learned how to listen over the years also. I would like her to want someone in her life, not need. Big difference to me. There’s nothing more attractive to me than a confident woman. I’ve never met a stranger. I’m an Extravert. I use to be a “Type A” person. Not anymore. Grandsons will change your life. I've learned to slow down and take time for them now. If you have grand kids you know what I mean. If you don’t have grand kids now, wait you will understand when you get them. I was in the Navy for over 14 years; travel is what I did mostly in the Navy. Still want to do more. I would someday like to show someone all the things and places I've seen. Been to a lot of countries. (72) Been around the world on planes and on ships. About me, well honest very direct. I have a set of rules I live my life by. I grew up in a Military family; I spent 14 1/2 years active duty Navy and the 10 years in the Army Reserve to finish it out. 24 years with Uncle Sam’s hair cut. If you don’t like tattoos stop reading now. I have tattoos on the inside of both arms. My right arm I have to word “Honor”. My left arm I have the word “Valor”. Both are the foundations I have tried every day to build my life on. I’m still in uniform; I’ll tell you about that when we meet. It's not easy to describe oneself, but if my friends and family were to describe me they would tell you that I'm intelligent, loyal, sensitive, stubborn, and funny...with a good sense of humor that would be considered more dry than silly. I look and feel much younger than my age and I refuse to even think about being the "older" generation. Age is a mindset so I am forever young! I enjoy traveling to new places and also going back to my favorites. I enjoy movies (a variety) on a rainy day, football on Saturday afternoon, yard work when weather permits, cooking when I want to, work only because I have to, a good book or good company anytime.

On the other end of the spectrum, if a man is into bungy jumping, sky diving, and is constantly on the go, I am not the woman for him. My ideal match is honest, sincere, health conscious, fun, stable, genuine, throw in a little stubborn streak & with alot of confidence (without sarcasm or arrogance) and there's a good match...I am not interested in meeting someone that is ready to settle down NOW. I'm not interested in a fast pace, manic relationship...those relationships are full of drama and never last.
