Other pursuits include reading fine literature, keeping up with current affairs, delving into history, attending the occasional arts or sporting event, going to good movies, especially foreign ones, and prowling bookstores and museums. I have traveled fairly extensively outside the U.S., sometimes on a shoestring budget. Truly, there is much to be said for Norwegian flophouses. Lastly, I am also an able and frequent hiker.I am drawn to a woman who is well-read and educated, a lady who never is satisfied with the status quo in regard to the knowledge that she has acquired, but instead constantly seeks out new ideas and is unafraid to re-evaluate accepted ones if circumstances so warrant. She would pilot a balanced and even-keeled ship through her life, only infrequently listing to port or to starboard. Such a gal would have a love of literature, the natural and social sciences, and the arts, and could talk about many things and make them all seem interesting to me.
