In the past two and a half years I have really changed my life in some big ways. I quit doing drugs and drinking on January 25th of 2007. I go to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings as much as I can. It helps me to stay on the streight and narrow. I don't mind if other people drink, I just don't. I dont want someone who is going to try to get me to drink. I have worked to hard to turn my life arround to go back to doing the same things I used to do. About 6 months ago I quit smoking cigarettes. I'm a easy going person who loves to laugh and have fun. When I dedicate myself to a relationship I'm in 110 percent. I'm looking for companionship, someone to enjoy my life with. I'm a nice guy that's affectionate and loves to spend time with my significant other. I will back my significant other with anything that they want to do in life. There isn't anything wrong with trying to better yourself. I ecourage people to better themselves. I want to meet someone who has the same attitude about doing better. I do eventually want kids. I love animals. I have one dog, and have had cats and a bunch of other pets. I have a strong work ethic and enjoy almost everything I try to do.

I was born and raised a farm boy till I was 15 then became a city boy. One thing I learned was not to loss where you came from. In my eye’s family, morals, and trust is huge. I try my best to not miss Sunday breakfast with my grandma or if a cousin ask me to help them to move on my day off I’ll be there. Me donate everything except cloths and toys for the kid’s. My look at it is new house new stuff delivered.
I’m not lazy but some times you need a fresh start. I like when I’m board to go on drives no GPS lets just get lost hear a song on the radio stop the car get out and dance to it under the moon light. I have never been in a fight, I always walk away if you win you still loss. I am very clean cut shave every day but If I don’t one day don’t hate me. I like to go to my mom and step dads cabin and just be me, no cable TV no internet and no cell phone coverage. I try my best to do at least 20 hours of community service a month, most of the time it’s at the boys and girls club her in Brighton teaching everyone how to shoot pool ( making the next hustler) .I like to help out friends with any problem with there car or house pay for the parts I’ll do it for pennies on the dollar if I can. I like the challenge if someone said it can’t be done call me, I will figure out how to get it done. I can do a lot from build a house with landscaping to knit you a sweeter. Don’t ask grandma thought me how to knit or even crow shay after taking care of the farm chores. I’m not a big sports fan I like to go do something on a big game days, less traffic. I like to go to concerts not so much a front row person just like the to be there. When I go out I’m more of a people watcher then the one that is being watched, but there are times when I like to be watched. I would like a woman that is fine with getting ready in 30 min’s just to go to the movies but will take her time when she want’s to be pampered for the night. I like to go to up to Black Hawk and gamble but I’m so ok with just going and doing dinner. I’m a Wal-Mart type person not a label person. I am a single dad who has primary custody, meaning I have my son at least 5 nights a week. I work full time in the biotech field, so I tend to be pretty busy, however, I believe there are always ways to make time to get to know someone.
My son is my life. He is awesomely entertaining, super smart, a little quirky, and has a huge heart. He has been emotionally hurt in the past, so it will take a little while for him to warm up to you. But I ensure that he doesn't get hurt again by seeing if there is something real and ready to build on first, so you won't meet him right away. I am not looking for a mom for him, he has one who is involved. But he will be a huge part of any life that we build together, so I am looking for someone who wants to join our life, and doesn't mind being a positive role model and having my son around, we are a package deal.
I would eventually like to find a long-term relationship, but think you have to allow things to happen and not force them, so I am open to whatever comes out of this. Lets take our time and get to know eachother, and if it develops into a serious relationship good, if not that is ok. I am looking for an honest, loyal, fun loving woman who knows what she wants, can have a good time but still embrace lifes responsibilities, and can work through the hard times without giving up so easy. I believe the reason why the divorce rate continues to climb is that everyone gives up to easy and expects less. I think giving up should be a last resort. Any relationship will have its hard times, and those may outweigh the good, however, those just make the good times that much better.

If you honestly mean it then your the type to listen to others when they are talking and will be able to carry on an intellectual conversation well pass the basics.

Second, if I'm willing to put forth the effort into finding someone I expect the same from whomever I'm talking to because your wasting your time if not.
