I’m 61 (take it or leave it!), but look, feel, and live the life of, a younger man. Highly educated, strong background, promising career, caring parent, lover of music and culture. I am also someone who has experienced a couple of decades of some not-so-comfortable stuff - with family and in career. But recovery can happen, and better lives can be found. I can tell you that with some assurance, as I have experienced it personally. For several years now.
I like pretty much all the standard stuff everyone on Match likes (or claims to): nature, beach, camping, trees, mountains, music, cuddling, travel, romantic evenings, etc. I also have other likes that may be more revealing: canoes, piano (especially Chopin and Liszt), stars and night sky, shoveling snow, building gadgets and gizmos for around the house, old movies, quality time with my daughter, -- ok, that’s enough for now.

First off, I`m SINGLE.. No wierdness (except my humor)! Ex`s or unnecessary BS, nothin' to hide or sneak around.) Date someone special from United States. I travel between Orange County, California and El Pescadero, Mexico (just North of Cabo), spending almost all of my time South of the border. I am a surfer, and have lived on the beach most my life. I have made my home here, and jog, dive, walk, or swim almost every day at the beach. I live at a beach break that is famous in a small circle of some of the best surfers in the world that have been coming here for decades to surf. Not everybody knows about it, and that’s one reason it's so nice. I built a house that is way too big for me (7 bedrooms/8 baths), right infront of this beautiful surf break on a 3-mile white sand beach. I’ve been here 16 years, and became a Mexican citizen in 2005 and have dual citizenship. It’s sunny and warm 360 days a year. We have a following of surfers who come here, 99% are male, which makes meeting women difficult. I don’t drink much, so don’t go to bars too often. I've just never liked the taste of alcohol, and it's one more vice I don't need. But if you drink it's fine. I do like to party, and we do have some incredible Reggae Fests and raves on the beach that are a lot of fun. I would love to have the right woman down here, but have no desire to go to Idaho, Kentucky, Kansas, or any other land locked city or state in the middle of nowhere. I need the ocean. I don’t mind traveling, but this is the place to be. They say that nobody comes here only once. If you ever come here, you will want to come again. I could write forever, but they say that more than 300 words is too much, and that's where I'm at. All my photos are very recent.
