I enjoy being in my right mind and do not need an escape from my mind to chill. Chill sober or seek therapy I would say. I am a political liberal and enjoy great conversation and hearing what people have to say. I know I do not know it all. I do not debate; I exchange ideas in a never-ending quest to know truth. I would characterize myself as a great friend, an honest person with an ethical compass who understands responsibility and who cherishes living a life based on honor. I believe the world is a great place and I have a good life. I do not have a ?hustle? or do things that are constructed to mislead, deceive or cheat anyone. If I cannot get it legally, I do not want it?period. What more, I do not get those that think otherwise. My friends value me and the friendship we share. I only have a few people I extend the word friend to, not because I do not trust people or hate people, but rather few persons seem share the same commitment to friendship that I do. My friends are never alone and can count on me when all else is wrong. Of course, that is what I would offer the special woman in my life, my support, patience, advice and a rock.
I was blessed to know and to this day admire my father. I think this one factor in my life that may be the most important. He was a good and honest man who really enjoyed people and instilled in me the same traits. My mother is still alive and my father has past. Both are/were very hard working honest people who had a 46-year marriage in which I never saw them fight or disrespect one another. This too is a blessing because I know what a successful relationship looks like, it is not a mystery that I feel I have to experiment to get right at the expense of my mate. Basically, you must like and respect the person you are with because once you do not like or respect them you cannot love them deeply or in a way that will make you want to wake up next to them for the rest of your natural days. Obviously, this is only my opinion and what do I know?!? ;) Did I mention that I value being humble?I am confident yet humble?
What am I looking for in a partner?well let me tell you. I am looking for a truly nice person, someone who is comfortable being kind. Seems simple really, but of course there is more. I love black women and think they are simply the most beautiful women on the earth?no others can compare really. Having said that, physically, I love what sista?s are famous for?BODY.
