I'm a single woman with virtually zero baggage :-) (no debt, no ex-husbands, no kids, and not tainted by previous relationships!) I was born and raised in Chicago but have made sunny California my home for the past 20 years.
I am self-sufficient and fiscally responsible, and it is important to me to be with a man who takes good care of his own finances. I am currently the manager of a federal affirmative action program and prevailing wage monitoring unit for a transit agency. My ideal man is ambitious, enjoys his job or business (but is not a total workaholic because then how will he fit me into his life?), is good at it, is proud of HIS accomplishments, and is still interested in how MY day was!
I'm unwavering in my liberal beliefs regarding politics and socio-economic and civil rights issues, and simply cannot bring myself to date a conservative or Republican.
I have a sharp wit, a great sense of humor, and am a huge fan of laughter (jokes, comedy clubs, funny movies, etc. :-)).

I enjoy the mountains, nature, and the California coast. I love to take long walks and drives to explore new places. I love romantic picnics in the park. However, I don't rough it and you wouldn't catch me camping in a tent or outside in a sleeping bag! Had enough of that when I was a Lithuanian girl scout 30 years ago!
